THE A47 TRUNK ROAD (GUYHIRN,
CAMBRIDGESHIRE) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION
OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 202_
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that National Highways
Limited(a) intends to make an Order on the A47 Trunk
Road in the County of Cambridgeshire to enable third
party works for road recycling and reconstruction,
and general routine maintenance to be carried out
in safety.
The works are expected to take place over approximately
6 weeks, starting on, or after Monday 6 July 2026.
The effect of the Order on the A47 would be to prohibit
for 24 hours daily, right turn movements from the
westbound carriageway of the A47 into Black Drove –
diverting traffic to continue westbound to New Cut
Roundabout, return via the eastbound carriageway
then via the B1187 to continue their journey.
The prohibition (which would not apply to emergency
service, traffic officer, or works vehicles) would be
clearly indicated by traffic signs.
The Order would come into force on 29 June 2026
and may continue in force until the works detailed
above have been completed.
