Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2026
On 12 June 2026, Surrey County Council made the above-mentioned Temporary Traffic Order under Sections 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to prohibit vehicles from entering or proceeding in that length of Highclere Road (D3620) Knaphill as extends from its junction with High Street (C12) to its junction with Fosters Lane (X95280). Alternative route – High Street.
This Order is required to enable M Group Telecoms to facilitate pole replacement and associated works. These works are anticipated to be carried out during the 12-month period of operation of this Temporary Order that commences on 29 June 2026 for 1 day between the hours of 8.00am and 6.00pm. Advanced warning signs will be displayed and the temporary closure will only operate when the relevant traffic signs are displayed. Access for emergency services, residents, pedestrians, cyclists and equestrians will be maintained at all times.

Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2026
Surrey County Council propose to make the above-mentioned Temporary Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to prohibit vehicles from entering or proceeding in that length of:-
- C142 Triggs Lane, Woking that extends from its junction with D3640 Royal Oak Road, to its junction with C142 Parley Drive, at the “Triggs Lane Roundabout” which comprises the junctions of C142 Triggs Lane, D7309 St Johns Road, C142 Parley Drive, D7244 Goldsworth Road and D3640 Kingsway (anticipated hours of operation 8.00pm to 6.00am (Monday to Friday). Alternative route (i) C142 Triggs Lane southbound, C141 Wych Hill, C141 York Road, A320 Guildford Road, A320 Victoria Way, A324 Lockfield Drive, C142 Parley Drive and C142 Triggs Lane. Alternative route (ii):- C142 Triggs Lane northbound, C142 Parley Drive, A324 Lockfield Drive, A320 Victoria Way, A320 Guildford Road, C141 York Road, C141 Wych Hill and C142 Triggs Lane.
- C142 Parley Drive, Woking that extends from its junction with the “Triggs Lane Roundabout”, to its junction with the A324 “Harelands Roundabout” that comprises the junctions of C142 Parley Drive, A324 Lockfield Drive, D7211 Marsten Road and D7310 Slocock Hill (anticipated hours of operation 8.00am to 4.00pm (Monday to Friday). C142 Parley Drive southbound, C142 Triggs Lane, C141 Wych Hill, C141 York Road, A320 Guildford Road, A320 Victoria Way, A324 Lockfield Drive and C142 Parley Drive. Alternative route (ii):- C142 Parley Drive northbound, A324 Lockfield Drive, A320 Victoria Way, A320 Guildford Road, C141 York Road, C141 Wych Hill, C142 Triggs Lane and C142 Parley Drive.
This Traffic Order is required to enable Surrey County Council to carry out traffic calming installations and/or associated resurfacing and road markings and/or maintenance works. These works are anticipated to be carried out within 8 weeks of the 18 month period of operation of this Temporary Order that commences on 13 July 2026. Advanced warning signs will be displayed and the temporary closures will only operate when the relevant traffic signs are displayed. Access for pedestrians and, dismounted cyclists and equestrians will be maintained at all times. Access for emergency services, residents and businesses will be maintained at all times via the alternative routes described above. Any vehicle found to be obstructing the highway during these works will be removed to a suitable location outside the limits of the works after all reasonable methods have been undertaken to identify and contact the vehicle’s owner.
