What is happening?

THE NORFOLK COUNTY COUNCIL

(ORMESBY ST MARGARET, U69457 DECOY ROAD)

(30 MPH SPEED LIMIT) ORDER 2026

Norfolk County Council has made the above-named Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 on the 8th June 2026 and comes into operation on the 15th June 2026, the effect of which is to prohibit any motor vehicle from exceeding 30 miles per hour along the length of the U69457 Decoy Road from 253 metres west of its junction with North Road for a distance of 150 metres westwards. This is a reduction to the previous 60 mph national speed limit.

A copy of the Order and a plan can be viewed online at www.norfolk.citizenspace.com. Copies are also available for inspection at Norfolk County Council, County Hall, Norwich, NR1 2DH and at the offices of Great Yarmouth Borough Council, Hall Plain, Great Yarmouth NR30 2QF, during normal office hours. Online viewing is recommended.
