DERBY ROAD AND KNYVETON ROAD, BOURNEMOUTH – GAS MAINS REPLACEMENT TEMPORARY TRAFFIC REGULATION ORDER 2026
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Bournemouth, Christchurch and Poole Council intends to make temporary traffic regulations, with the effects detailed below, to control traffic
WHAT, WHERE AND WHEN:
Derby Road, will be closed to all vehicles with no parking, no waiting at any time and no loading/unloading at any time from the junction – anticipated dates 20th July 2026 until 28th August
• outside the property boundary of No.26 Langtry Manor Hotel
• outside the property boundary of No.28A to the property boundary of No.28
• outside the property boundary of Nos.30/32 to the junction with Manor Road
The following will be no parking, no waiting at any time and no loading/unloading at any time. Parking in bays will be suspended in turns as works are carried out along the roads, with space made available as section of works are completed.
Derby Road, outside the property boundary of No.9 (suspension of disabled parking bay) – anticipated dates 29th June 2026 until 20th July 2026 and 28th August 2026 until 2nd October 2026
Derby Road, outside the property boundary of Nos.30/32 to the property boundary of No.36 (suspension of parking bays) – anticipated dates 29th June 2026 until 20th July 2026 and 28th August 2026 until 2nd October 2026
Knyveton Road, from the junction with Derby Road to the junction with Christchurch Road (suspension of parking bays) – anticipated dates 29th June 2026 until 2nd October 2026
Garden View, outside the property boundary of No.10 (suspension of disabled parking bay) – anticipated dates 29th June 2026 until 2nd October 2026
WHY: To facilitate gas mains replacement works by SGN
ACCESS: Full emergency services access will be maintained, access to properties will remain depending on site safety.

These arrangements may be amended/extended should works overrun or weather conditions delay operations. Restrictions may be in effect under this Order for up to 18 months, and could be further extended with the approval of the Secretary of State.
