Gloucestershire County Council - Multiple temporary road closures

The reason for the closures and restrictions is for Pre Surface Treatment Patching Works. There will be no waiting and no loading permitted throughout the duration of the said works.

The said roads are expected to be closed and restricted, during various times, on a rolling programme commencing 1st July 2026 where the presence of approved signage will indicate whether the closures and restrictions are in force. Further advance warnings of dates/times
will be displayed on site prior to the closures and restrictions taking effect. This Order can permit the closure and restriction of the roads in any order, or simultaneously as required. It is anticipated all works will be completed by 30th November 2026. However, if the said works are not completed by this date the Order may remain in force for up to eighteen months or
until the said works have been completed, whichever is sooner.

TEMPORARY CLOSURE 405031 ROAD FROM JUNCTION AT FERNS TO JUNCTION WITH NEW ROAD
(LITTLEDEAN PARISH) FOREST OF DEAN DISTRICT

Gloucestershire County Council, as traffic authority, intends to make an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to temporarily close part of the 405031 Road from junction at Ferns to junction with New Road from outside of the property known as ‘The Ferns’
to its junction with the property known as Pear Tree Cottage for a distance of approximately
480 metres. The reason for the said closure is for works by the National Grid.

The said road is expected to be closed on from 08:00hrs on 8th July 2026 until 18:00hrs on 15th July 2026 only. However, if the said works are not completed by this date the Order may remain in force for up to eighteen months or until the said works have been completed,
whichever is sooner.
