HYSBYSIR drwy hyn fod Cyngor Bwrdeistref Sirol Caerffili, wrth weithredu ei bwerau o dan Ddeddf Rheoleiddio Traffig Ffyrdd 1984 (fel y’i diwygiwyd), yn bwriadu, mewn nid llai na saith diwrnod o ddyddiad yr Hysbysiad hwn, wneud Gorchymyn a fydd â’r effaith o wahardd cerbydau rhag mynd ar hyd:

Twyn Road, rhwng y cyffyrdd â Gwyndon Road a Llanfach Road am bellter o tua 220 metr.

Disgwylir i’r Gorchymyn arfaethedig gychwyn ar 22 Mehefin 2026 am gyfnod nid yn fwy na deunaw mis neu nes bod y gwaith wedi ei gwblhau, p’un bynnag sydd gynharaf. Disgwylir i’r gwaith gael ei gwblhau erbyn 3 Gorffennaf 2026.

Ni fydd mynediad ar gael i gerddwyr, preswylwyr nac i gerbydau’r gwasanaethau brys.

Mae llwybrau amgen ar hyd Llanfach Road, Coed Moelfa Road a Gwyndon Road.

TWYN ROAD ABERCARN

TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF DRIVING ORDER 2026

NOTICE is hereby given that Caerphilly County Borough Council in exercise of its powers under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) intends in not less than seven days from the date of this Notice to make an Order, the effect of which will be to prohibit vehicles from proceeding along Twyn Road, between its junctions with Gwyndon Road and Llan-Fach Road for a distance of approx. 220 metres.

The proposed Order is expected to commence on 22nd June 2026 for a period not exceeding eighteen months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier. It is anticipated the works will be complete by 3rd July 2026.

Access for pedestrians, residents and emergency service vehicles will not be maintained.

Alternative routes are via Llan-Fach Road, Coed Moelfa Road, and Gwyndon Road.

The reason for making the Order is to allow for cabling works.

The order is required by NGED.
