Kent County Council, acting in exercise of its powers under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, makes or intends to make the following Orders.

TUNBRIDGE WELLS AREA

Burnt House Lane, Langton Green, TN3 0JU (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2026

To allow stopcock and meter replacement works to be carried out, Kent County Council has made an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Burnt House Lane, Langton Green, on or after 22nd June 2026 for up to 3 days or until the works have been completed.

The road will be closed in the vicinity of number 4 Waterfrets Cottage. To the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.

The alternative route for any through traffic is via Langton Road, Speldhurst Road, The Green, A264 Langton Road, Farnham Lane, Burnt House Lane and vice versa.



High Street, Brenchley, TN12 7NT (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2026

To allow telegraph pole replacement and associated cable rehanging works to be carried out, Kent County Council intends to make an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of High Street, Brenchley, on or after 8th July 2026 for up to 2 days or until the works have been completed.

The road will be closed in the vicinity of property named Birchetts. To the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.

The alternative route for any through traffic is via High Street, Horsmonden Road, Brenchley Road, The Heath, B2162 Lamberhurst Road, A262 Horsmonden Road, A21 Lamberhurst By-pass, A21 From J A262/B2162 Roundabout To J B2160 Roundabout Including Roundabout, Lamberhurst Quarter, A21 Hastings Road, A21 J B2160 Roundabout, B2160 Maidstone Road, Brenchley Road and vice versa.



Modest Corner, Southborough, TN4 0LS (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2026

To allow new water service connection works to be carried out, Kent County Council intends to make an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Modest Corner, Southborough, on or after 6th July 2026 for up to 5 days or until the works have been completed.

The road will be closed in the vicinity of land at Modest Corner, former Southbank House, Victoria Road. To the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.

There is no alternative route for any through traffic. Access will be maintained where it is safe to do so.



North Farm Road, High Brooms, TN2 3AS (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2026

To allow water pipe works to be carried out, Kent County Council intends to make an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of North Farm Road, High Brooms, on or after 6th July 2026 for up to 2 days or until the works have been completed.

The road will be closed in the vicinity of former Auto Bavaria site, between the hours of 19:00 and 05:00 only. To the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.

The alternative route for any Southbound through traffic is via North Farm Road, Dowding Way, Lamberts Road, Longfield Road, A21 Tonbridge Road Roundabouts, A21 Pembury Bypass, A21 Pembury Slip Southbound Off, A228 Pembury Road, A264 Pembury Road, A264 Calverley Road, A264 Crescent Road, A264 Church Road, A26 London Road, A26 Mount Ephraim, Grosvenor Road, Upper Grosvenor Road and North Farm Road.

The alternative route for any Northbound through traffic is via North Farm Road, Upper Grosvenor Road, Meadow Road, Goods Station Road, Grosvenor Road, A26 Mount Ephraim, A26 London Road, A264 Church Road, A264 Crescent Road, A264 Calverley Road, A264 Pembury Road, A21 Pembury Slip Northbound On, A21 Pembury Bypass, A21 Tonbridge Road Roundabout, Longfield Road, Lamberts Road, Dowding Way and North Farm Road.



Sheffield Road, Southborough, TN4 0SQ (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2026

To allow telegraph pole replacement works to be carried out, Kent County Council has made an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Sheffield Road, Southborough, on or after 22nd June 2026 for up to 2 days or until the works have been completed.

The road will be closed in the vicinity of the back garden of the flats opposite number 13. To the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.

The alternative route for any through traffic is via Draper Street, Pennington Road, Castle Street and vice versa.



Slip Mill Lane, Hawkhurst, TN18 5AB (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2026

To allow drainage repair works to be carried out, Kent County Council intends to make an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Slip Mill Lane, Hawkhurst, on or after 6th July 2026 for up to 5 days or until the works have been completed.

The road will be closed in the vicinity of Granary Cottage. To the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.

The alternative route for any through traffic is via Slip Mill Lane, Slip Mill Road, A268 High Street, A229 Cranbrook Road, Wellington Road, Wellington Cottages, Slip Mill Lane and vice versa.



Windmill Hill, Brenchley, TN12 7NP (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2026

To allow telegraph pole replacement and associated cable rehanging to be carried out, Kent County Council intends to make an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Windmill Hill, Brenchley, on or after 8th July 2026 for up to 2 days or until the works have been completed.

The road will be closed in the vicinity of Golden Cottages. To the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.

The alternative route for any through traffic is via Blind Lane, High Street, Windmill Hill and vice versa.
