Kent County Council, acting in exercise of its powers under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, makes or intends to make the following Orders.

TONBRIDGE & MALLING AREA

Ashes Lane, Hadlow, TN11 0AR (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2026

To allow telegraph pole replacement works to be carried out, Kent County Council intends to make an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Ashes Lane, Hadlow, on or after 7th July 2026 for up to 2 days or until the works have been completed.

The road will be closed approximately 60 metres South from Little Poult House. To the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.

The alternative route for any through traffic is via Ashes Lane, Higham Lane, A227 Shipbourne Road, A227 High Street, A227 Bordyke, A227 Hadlow Road, A26 Hadlow Road, A26 Cornwallis Avenue, A26 Hadlow Road East, A26 Tonbridge Road, Ashes Lane and vice versa.



Beechin Wood Lane, St Mary’s Platt (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2026

To allow telegraph pole replacement works to be carried out, Kent County Council has made an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Beechin Wood Lane, St Mary’s Platt, on or after 23rd June 2026 for up to 2 days or until the works have been completed.

The road will be closed approximately 170 metres Northeast of property named The Butts. To the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.

The alternative route for any through traffic is via Comp Lane, Long Mill Lane, Beechin Wood Lane and vice versa.



Birling Hill, Snodland (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2026

To allow telegraph pole replacement and associated cable rehanging works to be carried out, Kent County Council intends to make an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Birling Hill, Snodland, on or after 7th July 2026 for up to 2 days or until the works have been completed.

The road will be closed in the vicinity of the bottom of the walking track leading to Pilgrims Way. To the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.

The alternative route for any through traffic is via Stangate Road, Snodland Road, Ryarsh Road, Birling Road, The Street, Woodgate Road, Addington Lane, Taylors Lane, Vigo Hill, A227 Gravesend Road, Harvel Road, White Horse Road, Birling Hill and vice versa.



Dodd Road, Higham Wood, TN10 4AZ (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2026

To allow telegraph pole replacement and associated cable rehanging works to be carried out, Kent County Council intends to make an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Dodd Road, Higham Wood, on or after 7th July 2026 for up to 2 days or until the works have been completed.

The road will be closed from outside property number 20 to the junction with Martin Hardie Way. To the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.

The alternative route for any through traffic is via Martin Hardie Way, Turner Road and vice versa.



Kemsing Road, Wrotham (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2026

To allow drainage repair works to be carried out, Kent County Council intends to make an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Kemsing Road, Wrotham, on or after 10th July 2026 for up to 1 day or until the works have been completed.

The road will be closed between the junction with Pilgrims Way and the junction with Exedown Road. To the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.

The alternative route for any through traffic is via Kemsing Road, Exedown Road, Old Terrys Lodge Road, Pilgrims Way and vice versa.



Plaxdale Green Road, Stansted (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2026

To allow frame and cover repair works to be carried out, Kent County Council intends to make an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Plaxdale Green Road, Stansted, on or after 6th July 2026 for up to 3 days or until the works have been completed.

The road will be closed in the vicinity of property named Stone Rocks. To the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.

The alternative route for any through traffic is via Plaxdale Green Road, Malthouse Road, Stansted Hill, Vigo Road, A227 Gravesend Road, A20 London Road, Ash Lane, Hatham Green Lane, Plaxdale Green Road and vice versa.



Partridge Avenue, Leybourne, ME20 6FE (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2026

To allow ducting works to be carried out, Kent County Council has made an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Partridge Avenue, Leybourne, on or after 22nd June 2026 for up to 5 days or until the works have been completed.

The road will be closed from property number 2 to property number 29. To the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.

The alternative route for any through traffic is via Oriole Way, Swallow Road, Kingfisher Road, Lunsford Lane, Partridge Avenue and vice versa.



Pilgrims Way & High Street, Wouldham, ME1 3RB (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING & SUSPENSION OF ONE-WAY) TEMPORARY ORDER 2026

To allow telegraph pole replacement works to be carried out, Kent County Council has made an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Pilgrims Way, Wouldham, on or after 22nd June 2026 for up to 2 days or until the works have been completed.

The road will be closed approximately 140 metres North from property number 332 Pilgrims Way (row of terraced houses), between the hours of 09:30 and 15:00 only. To the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.

The alternative route for any through traffic is via Pilgrims Way, School Lane, High Street, Knowle Road, Pilgrims Way and vice versa. The one-way order on High Street will be temporarily suspended to allow for diversion.



Priory Grove, Ditton, ME20 6AY (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2026

To allow new meter box installation works to be carried out, Kent County Council has made an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Priory Grove, Ditton, on or after 22nd June 2026 for up to 5 days or until the works have been completed.

The road will be closed in the vicinity of property number 66. To the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.

The alternative route for any through traffic is via Priory Grove and vice versa.



Rochester Road, Aylesford, ME20 7EF (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2026

To allow charcoal antiskid works to be carried out, Kent County Council has made an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Rochester Road, Aylesford, on or after 22nd June 2026 for up to 2 days or until the works have been completed.

The road will be closed in the vicinity of the Lower Bell Inn, between the hours of 21:00 and 05:00 only. To the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.

The alternative route for any Southbound through traffic is via Rochester Road, Kits Coty Slip Southbound, A229 Blue Bell Hill, A229 Chatham Road, Cobtree Roundabout, A229 Chatham Road, A229 Blue Bell Hill, Kits Coty Slip Northbound Off.

The alternative route for any Northbound through traffic is via Rochester Road, Chatham Road, Kits Coty Slip Northbound, A229 Blue Bell Hill, Bluebell Hill Slip North Off, Lord Lees Roundabout, A229 Bluebell Hill Slip South On, A229 Blue Bell Hill, Kits Coty Slip - Southbound Off.



Vigo Hill & Vigo Road, Fairseat, TN15 7JP (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2026

To allow water pipe works to be carried out, Kent County Council has made an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on parts of Vigo Hill and Vigo Road, Fairseat, on or after 22nd June 2026 for up to 3 days or until the works have been completed.

The road will be closed at the junction with A227 Gravesend Road. To the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.

The alternative route for any Vigo Hill through traffic is via Vigo Road, Stansted Hill, Plaxdale Green Road, Hatham Green Lane, Ash Lane, A20 London Road, A227 Gravesend Road, Vigo Road and vice versa.

The alternative route for any Vigo Road through traffic is via Vigo Hill, A227 Gravesend Road, A20 London Road, Ford Lane, Taylors Lane, Vigo Hill & Vice versa.
