(FOOTPATH NO. 109334 IN THE CITY OF CARLISLE) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF PEDESTRIANS) ORDER 2026
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that due to the likelihood of danger to the public whilst Harrison Northern Ltd carry out construction works on land adjacent to the footpath, Cumberland Council intends to make an Order the effect of which is to prohibit pedestrians from proceeding along an approx. 110m length of Public Footpath No. 109334 in the City of Carlisle, between grid references 341257 554767 and 341210 554671.
There is no suitable alternative route available for pedestrians, however at times when works allow, and is deemed safe to do so, the site developer will provide a suitable alternative route, which would be signed on site.

The Order will come into operation on 1 July 2026 and may continue in force for a period of up to six months from that date and when the appropriate traffic signs are displayed.
