What is happening?
SECTION 14(1) OF THE ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984
Notice is hereby given that the Wiltshire Council intends to make an Order to close temporarily to all traffic:
A) B3095 (Part), Kingston Deverill, from its property known as The Old Forge to its property known as Hedge Cottage to enable Scottish and Southern Power Distribution to carry out electricity pole and associated works.
Diversion route for lights and vehicles over 7.5t. Diversion route to be symbolised hollow diamond for clockwise diversion and hollow circle for anti clockwise diversion.
Alternative route light vehicles under 7.5t clockwise via B3095 (unaffected length) – A350 – B3089 – A303 – B3095 (unaffected length).
Alternative route light vehicles under 7.5t anti clockwise via B3095 (unaffected length) – A303 – A350 – B3095 (unaffected length).
Alternative route HGVs over 7.5t clockwise via B3095 (unaffected length) – A350 – A303 – B3095 (unaffected length) and vice versa.
This Order will come into operation on 07 July 2026 and the closure will be required between the hours of 09:00 and 15:00 for 1 day.

Notice is hereby given that the Wiltshire Council has made Orders to close temporarily to all traffic:
B) C25 (Part), Kingston Deverill and Maiden Bradley with Yarnfield; from its junction with Whitepits to its junction with Back Lane to enable Wiltshire Council to carry out verge overrun and associated works.
Alternative route via C25 (unaffected length) – B3095 – C41 – B3092 – C25 (unaffected length) and vice versa.
This Order will come into operation on 15 June 2026 and the closure will be required between the hours of 09:00 and 16:30 for 5 days.

C) Bests Lane (Part), Sutton Veny; from its junction with Sandfield for a distance of approximately 60m in a southerly direction to enable Wessex Internet Limited to carry out cabling and associated works.
Alternative route via Bests Lane (unaffected length) – Norton Road – High Street – Bests Lane (unaffected length) and vice versa.
This Order will come into operation on 15 June 2026 and the closure will be required for 3 days.

Orders A) to C) will have a maximum duration of 18 months.
The closures and diversion routes will be clearly indicated by traffic signs.
It is anticipated that the works will take the stated duration to complete depending upon weather conditions. Access will be maintained for residents and businesses where possible, although delays are likely due to the nature of the works.

Footpath 64 (Part), Trowbridge; from its junction with the Kennet and Avon Canal for a distance of approximately 65m in a south easterly direction to enable health and safety due to a damaged wall and potential asbestos.
No alternative route is available.
The closure will be clearly indicated by traffic signs.
This closure which follows an emergency notice will come into operation on 18 June 2026 and the closure will be required until 17 December 2026.
Access will be maintained where possible although delays are likely due to the nature of the works.
The Order will have a maximum duration of 6 months.
