TEMPORARY TRAFFIC ORDER – FOREDOWN DRIVE, PORTSLADE
NOTICE is hereby given that Brighton & Hove City Council have on the 3 June 2026 made an Order pursuant to powers in Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended which has the following effect:-
The following will be done in phases, and only in force as and when signed
(a) The temporary northbound closure of Foredown Drive, Portslade, at it's junction with Old Shoreham Road, Portslade.
(b) The temporary southbound closure, at it's junction with Old Shoreham Road, Portslade.
- The Order is necessary to allow contractors to carry our Gas Mains Replacement works.
- Pedestrian access will be maintained, and a signed diversion route will be in place for vehicular traffic.
- This Order comes into force on 15 June 2026 for eighteen months or until such sooner time as the works are completed, which is anticipated to be 13 July 2026.
