ORDER 2026
The Scottish Borders Council (School Brae and Linton Bank Drive, West Linton) (Temporary No Waiting) Order 2026 has been made under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended. The Order, which has a maximum duration of 18 months, will come into force at 08:00 on 19 June 2026 and is expected to remain in effect until 17:00 on 2 July 2026. The Order is required for BT works.
When the Order comes into effect no person shall permit any vehicle to wait or to be parked along both sides of the following roads:
(i) D3/1 School Brae, West Linton from Beechknowe to Merlindale; and
(ii) D10/1 Linton Bank Drive, West Linton from junction with School Brae for approximately 37 metres.
A three-way traffic lights system shall be in operation. A map showing the restriction can be seen at www.tellmescotland.gov.uk
