(TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE) ORDER 2026

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVENthat Northumberland County Council intends to make an Order to prohibit the use by vehicular traffic on the following sections in the County of Northumberland: U6534 Woodhorn Villas from its junction with Woodhorn Lane for a distance of 200 metres in a south westerly direction.

U6534 Aln Street from its intersection with Woodhorn Villas for a distance of 120 metres in a south westerly direction.

The Order is to be effective from the 1st July 2026 until the 1st January 2027. It is expected that the road will be closed from the 6th July 2026 until the 18th July between the hours of 08:00 and 17:00 and the 12th October 2026 until the 16th October 2026 between the hours of 08:00 and 17:00 during this period; however, the order will remain in place until the 1st January 2027.

An alternative route will be available for use whilst the TTRO is in force being Woodhorn Lane, Woodhorn Road, Hawthorn Road, First Avenue and vice versa and should the need arise changes may be made to the alternative routes, where possible these changes will be signposted accordingly.

(TEMPORARY TRAFFIC REGULATION) ORDER 2026 NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVENthat Northumberland County Council

intends to make an Order which will prohibit the use by vehicular traffic on a section of road as described below in Ashington and to hereby further suspend No Entry and One Way traffic restrictions as described below in Ashington in the County of Northumberland.

The Order is to be effective from the 29th June 2026 until the 2ndAugust 2026. Road Closure:

U6510 Kenilworth Road Ashington from its junction with Station Road for a distance of 61 metres in a southerly direction in the County of

Northumberland.

An alternative route will be available for use whilst the TTRO is in force being Station Road, Park Road, Darnley Road, Kenilworth Road and vice versa.

Should the need arise changes may be made to the alternative routes, where possible these changes will be signposted accordingly.

Suspension of No Entry Traffic Restriction:

The following No Entry traffic restriction will be suspended from Schedule 2 of the Order namely “Northumberland County Council (Ashington One Way & No Entry Traffic Restrictions) Order 2023 (TROM_218)” dated 8th March 2023, this will then allow access whilst the road is closed. Suspension of One Way Traffic Restriction:

The following One Way traffic restriction will be suspended from Schedule 1 of the Order namely “Northumberland County Council (Ashington One Way & No Entry Traffic Restrictions) Order 2023 (TROM_218)” dated 8th March 2023, this will then allow access whilst the road is closed. The suspension of the one way traffic restriction will be in force throughout the duration of this Order. USRN Number – 42000252 Street – Kenilworth Road

(TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE) ORDER 2026 NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVENthat Northumberland County Council intends to make an Order to prohibit the use by vehicular traffic on that section of the C401 Milburn Road Ashington from its junction with North Seaton Road for a distance of 75 metres in a south-easterly direction in the County of Northumberland.

The Order is to be effective from the 6th July 2026 until the 6thAugust 2026. It is expected that the road will only be closed on the 6th July 2026 between the hours of 09:30 and 14:45 during this period; however, the order will remain in place until the 6th August 2026,

Alternative routes will be available for use whilst the TTRO is in force being North Seaton Road, Newbiggin Road, Milburn Road and Cavendish Terrace; or North Seaton Road, Cavendish Terrace, Bolsover Street, Bertram Terrace and Cavendish Gardens. Should the need arise changes may be made to the alternative routes, where possible these changes will be signposted accordingly.

(TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE) ORDER 2026 NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVENthat Northumberland County Council intends to make an Order to prohibit the use by vehicular traffic on that section of the U6521 Marine Cottages Newbiggin-by-the-Sea for its entire length in the County of Northumberland.

The Order is to be effective from the 6th July 2026 until the 17th July 2026. It is expected that the road will only be closed from the 6th July 2026 until the 10th July 2026 at all times during this period; however, the order will remain in place until the 17th July 2026.

An alternative route will be available for use whilst the TTRO is in force being Windsor Road, Windsor Terrace, Windsor Gardens and vice versa and should the need arise changes may be made to the alternative routes, where possible these changes will be signposted accordingly.

(TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE) ORDER 2026 NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVENthat Northumberland County Council intends to make an Order to prohibit the use by vehicular traffic on the following sections of roads in Bedlington in the County of Northumberland:

•   A1068 Choppington Lane for its entire length including both roundabouts

•   A193 Front Street West from its junction with Choppington Lane roundabout for a distance of 45 metres in a westerly direction

•   A1068 Hartford Road from its junction with Choppington Lane roundabout for a distance of 25 metres in a north-easterly direction

•   B1331 Ridge Terrace from its junction with Choppington Lane roundabout for a distance of 35 metres in a north-westerly direction

The Order is to be effective from the 6th July 2026 until the 6th January 2027. It is expected that the roads will only be closed from the 13th July 2026 until the 21st July 2026 between the hours of 20:00 and 06:00 during this period; however, the order will remain in place until the 6th January 2027.

It is expected that works on the Red Lion Roundabout will take place between the hours of 22:00 and 06:00 and be carried out in sections to minimise disruption.

Alternative routes will be available for use whilst the TTRO is in force being: A193, A189, A192, B1331 and vice versa; or U6722, B1331, A193 and vice versa; or A1068, C404, C405, B1331 and vice versa; or A1068, A196, A1147, A189, A192, A1068 and vice versa and should the need arise changes may be made to the alternative routes, where possible these changes will be signposted accordingly.

(TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE) ORDER 2026 NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVENthat Northumberland County Council intends to make an Order to prohibit the use by vehicular traffic on that section of the U6519 Lorne Terrace Newbiggin-by-the-Sea from its point at the rear of 9 Woodhorn Lane in a south-easterly direction for a length of 25 metres in the County of Northumberland.

The Order is to be effective from the 6th July 2026 until the 17th July 2026. It is expected that the road will only be closed from the 6th July 2026 until the 10th July 2026. The road will be closed at all times during this period; however, the order will remain in place until 17th July 2026. There is no alternative route available for vehicular traffic.

(TEMPORARY TRAFFIC REGULATION) ORDER 2026 NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVENthat Northumberland County Council

intends to make an Order to temporarily close a length of highway, introduce a temporary speed restriction and to introduce No Right Turns and No U Turns as described below in Blyth in the County of Northumberland. The Order is to be effective on the 20th June 2026 Road Closure:

This Order will temporarily close the U9525 Links Road, Blyth for its entire length.

Temporary Speed Restriction:

This order will hereby further temporarily restrict the speed of all traffic to 30 mph in both directions on the sections of the A193 Links Road from it junction with A193 Links Road Roundabout heading southwards for a distance of 860 metres

No Right Turns and No U Turns

This Order will hereby further prohibit No Right Turns and No U Turns by vehicular traffic in both directions on the sections of the A193 Links Road from its junction withA193 Links Road Roundabout heading southwards for a distance of 860 metres.

It is expected that the road closure, temporary speed restriction and the No Right Turns and No U Turns will be in place on the 20th June 2026 between the hours of 08:00 and 23:00; however, the order will remain in place until 23:59 hours on the 20th June 2026.

There will be no alternative route available for the duration of the TTRO. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVENthat Northumberland County Council have made an Order to prohibit the use by vehicular traffic on that section of the U9539 Maddison Gardens Seghill from its junction with U9719 Front Street heading in a southwards and then eastwards direction for a distance of 120 metres in the County of Northumberland.

The Order is to be effective from the 18th June 2026 until the 26th June 2026. It is expected that the road will only be closed from the 18th June 2026 until the 19th June 2026 between the hours of 09:00 and 16:00 during this period; however, the order will remain in place until 26th June 2026.

An alternative route will be available for use whilst the TTRO is in force being U9719, A190, U9539 and vice versa and should the need arise changes may be made to the alternative routes, where possible these changes will be signposted accordingly.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVENthat Northumberland County Council have made an Order to prohibit the use by vehicular traffic on that section of the C367 Arcot Lane Cramlington from its point 395 metres west of its junction with the B1319 Dudley Lane in a westerly direction for a length of 15 metres in the County of Northumberland.

The Order is to be effective from the 23rd June 2026 until the 24th June 2026. It is expected that the road will only be closed from the 23rd June 2026 until the 24th June 2026 between the hours of 23:30 and 06:00 during this period; however, the order will remain in place until 24th June 2026.

An alternative route will be available for use whilst the TTRO is in force being B1319, A1171, A1172, A1068, and vice versa and should the need arise changes may be made to the alternative routes, where possible these changes will be signposted accordingly.

The Order is to be effective from the 2nd July 2026 until the 10th July 2026.

It is expected that the road will only be closed on the 2nd July 2026 between the hours of 09:30 & 15:30 during this period; however, the order will remain in place until 10th July 2026.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVENthat Northumberland County Council, in exercise of the powers conferred under sections 1 to 4, 32, 35, 45 and 46, 61 and 64 (as appropriate) and Part IV of schedule 9 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the Traffic Management Act 2004 and all other powers so enabling, have made the above-named Order.

The effect of the Order, which will come into force on the 15th June 2026 will be to vary the “Northumberland County Council (Waiting, Loading & Parking Places) (Map Based) Consolidation Order 2024” by introducing ‘no waiting’ parking restrictions applying Monday - Friday between the hours of 8:15 - 9:15 & 14:00 - 16:00 on the full length of Longhirst Drive and sections of Leyburn Court and Lamonby Way. The restrictions can also be viewed in map format, as the maps form part of the map-based schedule to the Order.
