TEMPORARY SPEED LIMITS

“The Aberdeenshire Council (Kincardine and Mearns Surface Dressing Works – 15.06.26) (Temporary Speed Limits) Order, 2026” has been made under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act, 1984. A rolling programme of surface dressing works at the sites detailed below will be carried out from 15.06.26 until 31.08.26. A 10mph speed limit will operate during surface dressing application (convoy working) plus a 20mph speed limit (with 40mph transitional zone as applicable) during preparatory works and post application aftercare and lining and studding works. It is not possible to provide exact dates for each site, however the restriction will only be in force when signs indicative of the speed limits are displayed at the location.
