THE LONDON BOROUGH OF RICHMOND UPON THAMES (WAITING AND LOADING RESTRICTION) (CIVIL ENFORCEMENT AREA) (AMENDMENT No. *) ORDER 20

1. The Council of the London Borough of Richmond upon Thames propose to make the above Orders under sections 6 and 124 of, and Part IV of Schedule 9 to, the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended.

2. The general effects of the Waiting and Loading Restrictions Order will be to introduce a lengths of double yellow lines (“no waiting at any time”) in Rocks Lane, Mill Hill Road and Common Road, Barnes.

3. Copies of further particulars giving details to the proposals:-

(a) can be inspected, quoting Reference 26/096, at the Civic Centre (Central Reception, ground floor), 44 York Street, Twickenham between 9.15am and 5pm on Mondays to Fridays, except for Bank and other public holidays; and

(b) may be viewed on the Council’s web-site at http://www.richmond.gov.uk/public_notices

4. Persons wishing to object to or support the proposals or any part thereof should write to the Director of Highways and Street Scene, London Borough of Richmond upon Thames, Civic Centre, 44 York Street, Twickenham TW1 3BZ within 28 days of the date of this Notice giving the grounds of their objection. Representations may also be sent by email to Trafficorders@richmond.gov.uk.

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 SECTION 14 (1)

Temporary Road Closure

Amyand Park Road, Twickenham.

1. The Council of the London Borough of Richmond upon Thames HEREBY GIVES NOTICE that to facilitate remedial works, they intend to make a temporary Traffic Order, the effect of which will be to introduce a temporary prohibition of traffic in Amyand Park Road, Twickenham.

2. Whilst the work takes place no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed, wait or stand in Amyand Park Road, Twickenham from the junction with Greville Close to outside number 155 Amyand Park Road.

3. An alternative route for diverted traffic will be available via Amyand Park Road, Beaconsfield Road, Crown Road, Richmond Road, and Strafford Road.

4. The order will come into effect 26 June 2026. These works are anticipated to be in progress on 26 June 2026 only, the order will remain in force for a period of 18 months, to allow for unexpected events and possible remedial works.

5. The prohibitions apply only during such time and to such extent as indicated by prescribed traffic signs.

6. Nothing in the Order applies to:

(a) any vehicle being used in connection with the execution of the said works or any public service or utility vehicle;

(b) anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police officer in uniform or a civil enforcement officer; or

(c) any vehicle being used for Police, fire brigade or ambulance purposes.

7. Any vehicle waiting in contravention of any restriction imposed by the Order may be removed under the provisions of the Removal and Disposal of Vehicles Regulations 1986.

1. The Council of the London Borough of Richmond upon Thames HEREBY GIVES NOTICE that to facilitate remedial works, they intend to make a temporary Traffic Order, the effect of which will be to introduce a temporary prohibition of traffic in Cleveland Gardens, Barnes.

2. Whilst the work takes place no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed, wait or stand in Cleveland Gardens, Barnes outside numbers 46 to 50.

3. An alternative route for diverted traffic will be available via Cleveland Road, Grove Road, Terrace Gardens and vice versa.

4. The order will come into effect 23 June 2026. These works are anticipated to be in progress from 23 June to 26 June 2026, the order will remain in force for a period of 18 months, to allow for unexpected events and possible remedial works.

5. The prohibitions apply only during such time and to such extent as indicated by prescribed traffic signs.

6. Nothing in the Order applies to:

Temporary Road Closure, & Bus Lane Suspension.

George Street, Red Lion Street, & Paradise Road, Richmond.

1. The Council of the London Borough of Richmond upon Thames HEREBY GIVES NOTICE that to facilitate crane operation works, they intend to make a temporary Traffic Order, the effect of which will be to introduce a temporary prohibition of traffic in George Street and Red Lion Street, Richmond.

2. Whilst the work takes place, no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed, wait or stand in:

Red Lion Street, Richmond from the junction with Lewis Street to the junction with Church Terrace, night works only from 19.00-0500. Closure dates / crane operational dates 23 to 25 June 2026 with back up dates 30 June to 02 July, and 07 July to 09 July 2026.

George Street, Richmond from the junction with King Street to the junction with Sheen Road. Closure dates / crane operational dates 25 June to 26 June with back up dates 02 July to 03 July & 09 July to 10 July 2026.

The bus lane in Paradise Road will be suspended from the junction with Halford Road and Church Terrace.

Bays will be suspended as and where necessary as indicated by signs.

3. An alternative route for diverted traffic will be available via:

Red Lion Street - Church Terrace, Wakefield Road, Lewis Road and vice versa.

George Street - Northbound Major Diversion route - Bridge Street, Richmond Road, St Margarets Road, The Avenue, Twickenham Road, Richmond Circus & Kew Road.

Northbound Local Traffic Diversion Route - King Street, The Green, Portland Terrace, Little Green, Parkshot, & Clarence Street. Additional Diversion Duke Street & Quadrant Road.

4. The order will come into effect 23 June 2026. These works are anticipated to be in progress between 23 June 2026 to 10 July 2026, the order will remain in force for a period of 18 months, to allow for unexpected events and possible remedial works.

5. The prohibitions apply only during such time and to such extent as indicated by prescribed traffic signs.

(a) any vehicle being used in connection with the execution of the said works or any public service or utility vehicle;

2. Whilst the work takes place no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed, wait or stand in George Street, Richmond from the junction with King Street to outside number 54 George Street.

3. An alternative route for diverted traffic will be available via St Margarets Road, Hill Street, King Street, The Green, Pembroke Villas, Portland Terrace, Little Green, Parkshot, Twickenham Road The Avenue.

4. The order will come into effect 19 June 2026. These works are anticipated to be in progress from 22.00 on 19 June to 05.30 on 20 June 2026, the order will remain in force for a period of 18 months, to allow for unexpected events and possible remedial works.

5. The prohibitions apply only during such time and to such extent as indicated by prescribed traffic signs.

6. Nothing in the Order applies to:

(a) any vehicle being used in connection with the execution of the said works or any public service or utility vehicle;

(b) anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police officer in uniform or a civil enforcement officer; or

(c) any vehicle being used for Police, fire brigade or ambulance purposes.
