ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 – SECTION 14 (1), 22C and 22D (as amended)

ALL ENGLAND LAWN TENNIS CLUB EVENT DAYS - TEMPORARY RESTRICTION OF TRAFFIC

1. The Council of the London Borough of Wandsworth on the recommendation of the Commissioner of Police of the Metropolis, HEREBY GIVE NOTICE that for purposes relating to danger or damage connected with terrorism, they propose to make an Order, the effect of which would be to temporarily restrict pedestrian and vehicular traffic in various streets in the said London Borough, as required, during Event Days at the All England Lawn Tennis Club, Church Road, SW19.

2. Between 06.00 on Monday 29th June 2026 and 23.59 on Monday 13th July 2026, when and where appropriate signs are being displayed, no person shall:-

(a) enter or proceed in:-

(i) Wimbledon Park Road – from its junction with Victoria Drive to a point immediately south of its junction with Princes Way;

(ii) Victoria Drive – from its junction with Wimbledon Park Road to its junction with Albert Drive; and

(iii) Bathgate Road - from its junction with Church Road to its junction with Queensmere Road.

(b) cause or permit any vehicle to enter or proceed in the roads or lengths of road specified in sub-paragraph 2(a) above.

3. The Order confers powers to police constables and persons authorised by them to direct that any provision of the Order be suspended, commenced or revived, and to place barriers and obstructions on the roads or lengths of road specified in sub-paragraph 2(a) above, as they consider appropriate. The Order also confers the power of discretion to police constables and authorised persons which would enable them to facilitate limited access to certain vehicles and pedestrians, including residents and those wishing to attend the event.

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 – SECTION 14

TEMPORARY CLOSURE – THORNSTETT ROAD SW18

1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the London Borough of Wandsworth has made an order to restrict vehicular movement in Thornsett Road to facilitate Thames Water utility works

2. Whilst the said works are taking place, no vehicle shall enter, proceed or wait along Thornsett Road from the junction with Garratt Lane to the junction with Groton Road. There will be no waiting at any time. Access will be maintained for residents and businesses

3. Whilst the order remains in force the alternative route for traffic affected by the closure will be appropriately signed

4. Further information may be obtained from the Council’s Network Management section – telephone number (020) 8871 6904.

5. The order will come into operation on 16 June 2026 and will remain in place until the works are complete. The order will remain in place for no longer than 18 months, although the works are expected to be complete by 18 June 2026.

TEMPORARY CLOSURE – WAKEHURST ROAD SW11

1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the London Borough of Wandsworth has made an order to restrict vehicular movement in Wakehurst Road to facilitate Thames Water utility works.

2. Whilst the said works are taking place, no vehicle shall enter, proceed or wait along Wakehurst Road from the junction with Bolingbroke Grove to the junction with Clapham Common Westside. Each side road will be closed in phases as per the table below at their respective junctions with Wakehurst Road. There will be no waiting at any time.

CYCLE HANGARS – VARIOUS ROADS IN THE BOROUGH

The Wandsworth (Cycle Parking Places) (No. ) Order 202

1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the London Borough of Wandsworth propose to make the above Order under sections 6 and 63 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended by the Local Government Act 1985 and the Traffic Management Act 2004.

2. The general effect of the Order is to introduce cycle parking hangars at the locations detailed in the Schedule to this Notice.

3. A copy of the proposed Orders and of documents including plans giving more detailed particulars of the Order is available for inspection until the last day of a period of six weeks beginning with the date on which the Order is made, or as the case may be, the Council decides not to make the Order, during normal office hours on Mondays to Fridays inclusive in The Customer Centre, The Town Hall, Wandsworth High Street, London, SW18 2PU.

4. Any person wishing to make a comment about the proposals should send a statement in writing to the Executive Director of Resident Services at the address below within 21 days of the date of this Notice.
