TEMPORARY RESTRICTION OF TRAFFIC

(c) anything done with the permission of a police constable in uniform or a Civil Enforcement Officer.

  1. The Order will come into operation on 25 June 2026, and it is anticipated that the work will be carried out within two days. However, the Order will remain in force for 18 months to be re-introduced should further work be required.

TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF VEHICULAR TRAFFIC

  1. Croydon Council HEREBY GIVE NOTICE that to facilitate gas main connection and renewal works, they intend to make an Order the effect of which would be to temporarily prohibit movements on the roads below, as detailed.

  2. Whilst the said work is taking place, phased closures will apply to the roads below.

Woodcote Drive closure – Via The Ridge, Farm Lane, and Green Lane, or via Great Woodcote Park, Church Road, and Peaks Hill.

Woodcote Drive closure – Via Green Lane, Farm Lane, and Foxley Lane, or via Peaks Hill, Peaks Hill Rise, and Foxley Lane.

Peaks Hill closure – Via Woodcote Drive, Great Woodcote Park, and Church Road, or via Woodcote Drive, Foxley Lane, and Peaks Hill Rise.

Peaks Hill closure – Via Woodcote Drive, Great Woodcote Park, and Church Road, or via Plough Lane, The Bridle Road, Foxley Lane, and Peaks Hill Rise.

Peaks Hill closure – Via Church Road, Church Hill, and Plough Lane, or via Peaks Hill Rise, The Bridle Road, and Plough Lane.

Peaks Hill Rise closure – Via Peaks Hill, Woodcote Drive, and Foxley Lane, or via Peaks Hill, Plough Lane, The Bridle Road, and Foxley Lane.

  1. The Order will come into operation on 29 June 2026, and it is anticipated that the works will be completed as detailed above. However, the Order will remain in force for 18 months to be reintroduced should further work be required. The prohibitions will only apply during such times and to such extent as shall from time to time be indicated by traffic signs.

  2. The restrictions shall not apply in respect of:

(a) a vehicle involved in conducting the said work.

(b) a vehicle being used for fire brigade, ambulance, or police purposes, or the purposes of a statutory undertaker in an emergency, such as the loss of supplies of gas, electricity, or water to premises in the area, which necessitates the bringing of vehicles into a section of road to which the Order applies.

(c) anything done with the permission of a police constable in uniform or a Civil Enforcement Officer.

BRIGHTON ROAD, SOUTH CROYDON

TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC

  1. Croydon Council HEREBY GIVE NOTICE that to facilitate telecoms ducting works, they have made an Order the effect of which would be to temporarily prohibit traffic movements in Brighton Road, South Croydon.

  2. During the work:

    (a) The cycle lane on the south-east side of Brighton Road will be closed outside Nos. 345 to 355 Brighton Road.

    (b) The footway outside Nos. 353 and 355 Brighton Road will be closed.

  3. Whilst the cycle lane closure remains in force cyclists will be diverted into the main carriageway. Pedestrians affected by the footway closure will be diverted into a walkway in the cycle lane.

  4. The Order will come into operation on 15 June 2026, and it is anticipated that the work will be completed on 17 June 2026. However, the Order will remain in force for 18 months to be reintroduced should further work be required. The prohibition will only apply during such times and to such an extent as shall from time to time be indicated by traffic signs.

  5. The restriction shall not apply in respect of:

    (a) any person or vehicle involved in conducting the said work.

    (b) a vehicle being used for fire brigade, ambulance, or police purposes, or the purposes of a statutory undertaker in an emergency, such as the loss of supplies of gas, electricity, or water to premises in the area, which necessitates the bringing of vehicles into a section of road to which the order applies.

    (c) anything done with the permission of a police constable in uniform or a Civil Enforcement Officer.

TEMPORARY RESTRICTION OF VEHICULAR TRAFFIC

  1. Croydon Council HEREBY GIVES NOTICE that to facilitate foul water connection works they intend to make an Order the effect of which would be to temporarily restrict traffic on Westbrook Road.

  2. Whilst the said works are taking place Westbrook Road will be closed outside Nos. 31 and 33 Westbrook Road.

  3. The Order will come into operation on 01 July 2026, and it is anticipated that the work will be carried out within twelve days. However, the Order will remain in force for 18 months to be reintroduced should further works be required. The restriction will only apply during such times and to such extent as shall from time to time be indicated by traffic signs.

  4. During the closure the diversion routes for traffic will be as detailed below.

    • Via Howberry Road, Burlington Road, and vice versa.

    • Via Howberry Road, Northwood Road, Beauchamp Road, Moffat Road, and vice versa.

  5. The restriction shall not apply in respect of:

    (a) any vehicle involved in carrying out the said works.

    (b) a vehicle being used for fire brigade, ambulance, or police purposes, or the purposes of a statutory undertaker in an emergency, such as the loss of supplies of gas, electricity or water to premises in the area, which necessitates the bringing of vehicles into a section of road to which the order applies.

    (c) anything done with the permission of a police constable in uniform or a Civil Enforcement Officer.

    TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF PARKING

    1. Croydon Council HEREBY GIVE NOTICE that to facilitate cabling works for a new electrical substation on behalf of UKPN, they have made an Order the effect of which would be to temporarily prohibit parking on Ullswater Crescent, Coulsdon.
    2. During the work, parking on the north-east side of Ullswater Crescent will be suspended and waiting and loading restrictions prohibiting parking and loading will apply at any time between its junction with Breakfield and the cul-de-sac.
    3. The Order will come into operation on 11 June 2026, and it is anticipated that the work will be completed in approximately six weeks. However, the Order will remain in force for 18 months to be reintroduced should further work be required. The prohibition will only apply during such times and to such extent as shall from time to time be indicated by traffic signs.
    4. The restriction shall not apply in respect of:

      (a) any vehicle involved in conducting the said work.

      (b) a vehicle attending for fire brigade, ambulance, or police purposes, or the purposes of a statutory undertaker in an emergency, such as the loss of supplies of gas, electricity, or water to premises in the area, which necessitates the bringing of vehicles into a section of road to which the order applies.

    2. Whilst the said works are taking place Oxford Road will be closed at its junction with Central Hill.
    3. The Order will come into operation on 11 June 2026, and it is anticipated that the works will be carried out within approximately six days. However, the Order will remain in force for 18 months to be reintroduced should further work be required.
    4. Whilst the closure is in force the alternative route for vehicular traffic will be via Oxford Road, Crystal Terrace, Hermitage Road, Central Hill and reversed.
    5. The restriction shall not apply in respect of:

      (a) any vehicle involved in conducting the said work.

      (b) a vehicle attending for fire brigade, ambulance, or police purposes, or the purposes of a statutory undertaker in an emergency, such as the loss of supplies of gas, electricity, or water to premises in the area, which necessitates the bringing of vehicles into a section of road to which the order applies.

      (c) anything done with the permission of a police constable in uniform or a Civil Enforcement Officer.
