DISABLED PERSONS PARKING PLACES – SCHEDULE 256

The Croydon (Prohibition and Restriction of Stopping, Loading and Waiting) and (Free Parking Places) (Amendment No. H16) Order 20–

The Croydon (On-Street Charged-For Parking Places) (Amendment No. H17) Order 20–

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Croydon Council proposes to make the above Traffic Orders under section 6 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended and all other enabling powers.

1. The general effect of the Orders would be to:

a) Revoke the disabled parking places in the vicinity of: No. 36 Elliott Road, Thornton Heath, No. 95 Fairlands Avenue, Thornton Heath, No. 119 Gonville Road, Thornton Heath, No. 10 Lancing Road, Croydon, and No. 66 Mayfield Road, Thornton Heath, and No. 111 Silverleigh Road, Thornton Heath.

b) Designate new parking places at which vehicles displaying a disabled persons’ badge may be left without charge or time limit in the following locations.

2. A copy of the proposed Orders and all related documents can be inspected Monday to Friday inclusive, until the last day of a period of six weeks beginning with the date on which the Orders are made or, as the case may be, the Council decides not to make the Orders, between 10am and 6pm, at Croydon Central Library, Katharine Street, CR9 1ET. Alternatively, all related documents or further information can be requested by email to Parking.Design@croydon.gov.uk.

3. Persons desiring to object to the proposed Orders should send a statement in writing of their objection and the grounds thereof to the Parking Design Section, 3rd Floor, Zone C, Bernard Weatherill House, 8 Mint Walk, Croydon, CR0 1EA or by emailing the Parking Design Team (email address above) quoting the reference: PD/CH/H16 & H17 by 02 July 2026.
