What is happening?

REDCAR AND CLEVELAND BOROUGH COUNCIL
EASSON ROAD, REDCAR (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) ORDER 2026

Not less than 7 days herefrom the Council intends to make an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the length of road specified below.

The effect of the Order will be to prohibit any vehicle from proceeding in the lengths of road specified in the schedule below. Access will be available to residents’ properties within the closure. Local diversions will be in operation.

The Order will come into operation on 27.7.26 and remain in operation for 18 months, although it is envisaged that the works will be completed within 10 days.
