Notice is hereby given that, in not less than 7 days from the date of this Notice, the Council intends to make Orders under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Cavendish Cl, Old Hall (Prohibition of Driving)
Temporary Order 2026
The effect of which will be to introduce a prohibition of driving on Cavendish Cl outside property numbers 75 to 93. The order will be effective from 6th July 2026 for 5 days, between 9:30am & 2:30pm. The closure is required to allow for Scottish Power to install new service connections.

The effect of which will be to introduce a prohibition of driving on Derek Ave from its jct. with Poplars Ave to its jct. with Harding Ave. The Order will be effective from 22nd June 2026 for 3 weeks. The Borough of Warrington (Alfa Way & Borsodi Boulevard) (Bus Gate) Order 2026
Notice is hereby given that the Council proposes to make an order under Sections 1, 2, 4 & 5 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 & by virtue of the Road Traffic (Permitted Parking & Special Parking Area) (Borough of Warrington) Order 2006 made by Order under Section 43 & Schedule 3 of The Road Traffic Act 1991 & the Bus Lane Contraventions (Approved Local Authorities) (England) (Amendment) (No.8) Order 2006 made by the Secretary of State for Transport pursuant to Section 144 of the Transport Act 2000 & all other enabling powers. The effect of the Order will be as follows:-
- To introduce a 24-Hour Bus Gate (including taxis & pedal cycles), in both directions, on the length of Alfa Way from a point 8m north east of its northernmost jct. with Oscar Cres to its jct. with Borsodi Blvd.
- To introduce a 24-Hour Bus Gate (including taxis & pedal cycles), in both directions, on the length of Borsodi Blvd from its jct. with Alfa Way for approx. 54m in a north easterly direction.

- To prohibit any Motor Vehicle proceeding on Oscar Cres from making a left hand turn at its northernmost jct. with Alfa Way. Taxis & pedal cycles will be permitted.
- To prohibit any Motor Vehicle proceeding on the as of yet Un-named road linking Borsodi Blvd & Fortress Blvd from making a left hand turn at its jct. with Borsodi Blvd. Taxis & pedal cycles will be permitted.

Notice is hereby given that the Council proposes to make an order under Sections 1, 2, 4, 5, 32, 35 & Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 & of all other enabling powers. The effect of which will be as follows:-
- The Borough of Warrington (Traffic Management) (Civil Enforcement) Consolidation Order 2025, is hereby further varied or amended as follows:-
(a) In the 3rd Schedule by the deletion of: No waiting at any time:

Establishment of Road Humps – Borsodi Boulevard, Traffic Calming, 2026
Notice is hereby given that Warrington Borough Council intends, as part of its traffic calming proposals, to install traffic calming features, to regulate the speed of traffic under Section 90A to the Highways Act 1980, with the effects detailed in the Schedule to this notice.
