TEMPORARY TRAFFIC REGULATION ORDER 2026
Stockton-on-Tees Borough Council made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 on 10th June 2026, the Highway Authority being satisfied that the restrictions are required because of the likelihood of danger to the public, or of serious damage to the footpath, which are not attributable to the works.
The effect of the Order, which came into effect on 10th June 2026, is to temporarily close the full length of Lustrum Beck Footbridge, Stockton at such times as signs may be erected to notify users of the closure.
The Order may continue in force for a maximum period of six months, unless extended with the approval of the Secretary of State for Transport. An alternative route will be signed on site.
Access for pedestrians and emergency services will not be maintained.
