HYSBYSIR DRWY HYN bod CYNGOR SIR FYNWY, Neuadd y Sir, y Rhadyr, Brynbuga, NP15 1GA ("y Cyngor") Wedi gwneud Gorchymyn yn unol â'r pwerau a roddwyd gan Adran 14(1)(a) o Ddeddf Rheoleiddio Traffig Ffyrdd 1984:  

1.     Daeth y Gorchymyn i rym ar 19eg Mehefin 2026 a bydd yn parhau i fod mewn grym am gyfnod nad yw'n hwy na 18 mis neu nes bod y gwaith y cynigir ei wneud wedi'i gwblhau, pa un bynnag yw'r cynharaf. Rhagwelir y bydd y gwaith wedi'i gwblhau ar 19eg Mehefin 2026, gan weithio rhwng 10:00 –17:00.  

2.     Roedd y Gorchymyn yn angenrheidiol i wneud gwaith yn gosod polion  mewn modd diogel yn y lleoliad.  Cedwir mynediad rhesymol i eiddo sy'n wynebu'r darnau o'r ffordd yr effeithir arnynt yn ystod y cyfnod cau.  

3.     Effaith y Gorchymyn oedd cau dros dro rhan o Heol Broom, Rhaglan, Sir Fynwy, ~180m o’r gyffordd gyda Heol Brynbuga ~40m.  

4.     Roedd llwybr dargyfeirio fel a ganlyn: Heol Brynbuga, Heol Llancaio, C33.2 Varteg Rhiw Las Cefn Maen ac i’r gwrthwyneb.  

5.     Gellir enwi'r Gorchymyn hwn fel Gorchymyn Rheoleiddio Traffig Dros Dro Heol Broom, Rhaglan, Sir Fynwy 2026.  

6.     Yn sgil Adran 16(1) Deddf Rheoleiddio Traffig Ffordd 1984 bydd person sy'n torri cyfyngiad neu waharddiad a osodir dan Adran 14 y Ddeddf yn euog o drosedd.

SECTION 14 - ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984  

MONMOUTHSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL
(BROOM ROAD, RAGLAN, MONMOUTHSHIRE)
TEMPORARY TRAFFIC REGULATION NOTICE 2026  

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that MONMOUTHSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL of County Hall, The Rhadyr, Usk, NP15 1GA (“the Council”) Has made an order pursuant to the powers conferred by Section 14(1)(a) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984  

1.     The Order came into operation on the 19th June 2026 and will continue to be in force for a period not exceeding 18 months or until the works which it is proposed to carry out have been completed, whichever is the earlier. It is anticipated that the works will be completed on the 19th June 2026, operating between 10:00 –17:00.  

2.     The order was necessary for poling works to take place in a safe manner at the location. Reasonable access will be maintained for properties fronting the affected lengths of road during the period of the closure.  

3.     The effect of the order was to temporarily close a section of Raglan Road, Raglan, Monmouthshire, ~180m from its junction with Usk Road for ~40m.  

4.     A signed diversionary route was in place as follows:- Usk Road, Llancayo Road, C33.2 Varteg Rhiw Las Cefn Maen and vice versa.  

5.     This order may be cited as the Broom Road, Raglan, Monmouthshire Temporary Traffic Regulation Order 2026  

6.     By virtue of Section 16(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 a person who contravenes a restriction or prohibition imposed under Section 14 of the Act shall be guilty of an offence.
