U11B - TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE
“The Aberdeenshire Council (U11B Mains of Forrest Road – 18.06.26) (Temporary Closure to Vehicular Traffic) Order, 2026” has been made under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act, 1984.
The order will operate from 18.06.26 for 7 days and will prohibit any person from driving on U11B Mains of Forrest Road from the B9032 at Memsie to the C11B at Mains of Forrest.
Access will be provided for emergency and vehicles requiring access to properties but may be subject to delay until the road is cleared of construction plant to allow safe passage through the works.
The temporary restriction is necessary in the interests of public safety due to work for a telecom company. An alternative route is available via B9032 to A981 at Memsie Crossroads, A981 to C11B at Sandhole and C11B to U11B at Mains of Forrest and vice versa.
