NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVENthat Northumberland County Council intends to make an Order which will temporarily introduce parking restrictions on the following roads in the County of Northumberland.

“No waiting and loading at any time” Parking Restrictions:

•    B6545 Rotary Way from its junction with County Boundary to Ponteland Road heading westwards for a distance of 390 metres.

•    A696 Ponteland Road from its junction with County Boundary to Ponteland Road heading northwards for a distance of 55 metres.

•    A696 County Boundary to Ponteland Road from its junction with Ponteland Road heading southwards for a distance of 590 metres.

•    C354 Prestwick Roundabout to Dinnington from its junction with County Boundary to Ponteland Road heading north eastwards for a distance of 700 metres.

•    C354 Prestwick Roundabout to Dinnington from its junction with Ponteland Castle Morpeth Footpath 012 heading eastwards for a distance of 460 metres.

The parking restrictions have been requested by Northumberland County Council due to the likelihood of danger to the public caused by dangerous parking on the roads which affects drivers’ visibility and causes obstructions. Dated this 11th day of June 2026.

(TEMPORARY BRIDLEWAY CLOSURE) ORDER 2026

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVENthat Northumberland County Council intends to make an Order to prohibit the use of Parish of Whittington Public Bridleway Number 9, in the County of Northumberland. The route is described as follows:

Parish of Whittington Public Bridleway Number 9

From the C225 road, in a north-westerly direction to Todridge, for a distance of 550 metres, passing to the east and north of the property, then in a northerly direction, passing to the west of Brandy Well, for a distance of 740 metres to a point 55 metres south of Bingfield Paddock, Bingfield.

There is no alternative route available.

(TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE) ORDER 2026

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVENthat Northumberland County Council intends to make an Order to prohibit the use by vehicular traffic on that section of the C151 Eastgate Junction to Tranwell Woods Junction from its junction with Greystoke Place in a northeasterly direction for a length of 275 metres in the County of Northumberland. The Order is to be effective from the 6th July 2026 until the 14th August 2026.

It is expected that the road will only be closed from the 6th July 2026 until the 31st July 2026. The road will be closed at all times during this period; however, the order will remain in place until 14th August 2026.

An alternative route will be available for use whilst the TTRO is in force being C151, B6524, C153, C361, and vice-versa. Should the need arise changes may be made to the alternative routes, where possible these changes will be signposted accordingly.

C37 HETTON HOUSE JUNCTION TO BILL LAW JUNCTION CHATTON

(TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE) ORDER 2026

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVENthat Northumberland County Council intends to make an Order to prohibit the use by vehicular traffic on that section of the C37 Hetton House Junction to Bill Law Junction Chatton from its junction with B6349 Clavering to Sionside in a north-westerly direction for a length of 1750 metres in the County of Northumberland.

The Order is to be effective from the 2nd July 2026 until the 10th July 2026. It is expected that the road will only be closed on 2nd July 2026, between the hours of 08:00 and 16:00 during this period. The Order however will remain in force until the 10th July 2026.

An alternative route will be available for use whilst the TTRO is in force being B6349, C18, U1051, C37, and vice-versa and should the need arise changes may be made to the alternative routes, where possible these changes will be signposted accordingly.

(TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE) ORDER 2026

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVENthat Northumberland County Council intends to make an Order to prohibit the use by vehicular traffic on that section of the C41 Lilburn Tower Junction to Chatton Junction from its junction with C43 Chillingham to Chatton in a south-westerly direction for a length of 2120 metres in the County of Northumberland. The Order is to be effective between the 1st July 2026 and 10th July 2026.

It is expected that the road will only be closed on the 1st July 2026 between the hours of 08:00 & 16:00 during this period; however, the order will remain in place until 10th July 2026.

An alternative route will be available for use whilst the TTRO is in force being C41, C45, C43, and vice versa and should the need arise changes may be made to the alternative routes, where possible these changes will be signposted accordingly.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVENthat Northumberland County Council intends to make an Order to prohibit the use by vehicular traffic on that section of the U6037 Middleton Junction to High Angerton Junction Hartburn from its junction with C156 Belsay Junction to Hartburn Junction 1150 metres in the County of Northumberland.

The Order is to be effective from the 30th June 2026 until the 10th July 2026. It is expected that the road will only be closed on the 30th June 2026 between the hours of 08:00 and 16:00 during this period; however, the order will remain in place until 10th July 2026.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVENthat Northumberland County Council intends to make an Order to prohibit the use by vehicular traffic on that section of the U1067 Broomhouse Junction to Chillingham Junction Chatton 190 metres westwards from its junction with C43 Chillingham to Chatton heading further westwards for a distance of 80 metres in the County of Northumberland.

The Order is to be effective from the 1st July 2026 until the 10th July 2026.

It is expected that the road will only be closed on the 1st July 2026 between the hours of 08:00 and 16:00 during this period; however, the order will remain in place until 10th July 2026.

There is no alternative route for vehicular traffic.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVENthat Northumberland County Council intends to make an Order to prohibit the use by vehicular traffic on the following sections of roads in the County of Northumberland:

•    A197 Pegswood Bypass from its junction with A197 Pegswood to District Boundary for a distance of 90 metres in a north-easterly direction.

•    A197 Pegswood to District Boundary from its junction with Pegswood Bypass for a distance of 170 metres including Pegswood Roundabout

•    C395 Pegswood Cemetery to Bothal Bank from its point 93 metres south-east of its junction with A197 Pegswood to District Boundary for a distance of 183 metres in a north-westerly direction

The Order is to be effective from the 6th July 2026 until the 6th January 2027. It is expected that the roads will only be closed from the 6th July 2026 until the 13th July 2026 between the hours of 20:00 and 06:00 during this period; however, the order will remain in place until the 6th January 2027.

An alternative route will be available for use whilst the TTRO is in force being A197, A1068, A196, A192, B1337, A197 and vice versa; or A197, A1068, A196, A192, B1337, C395 and vice versa; or A197, A1068, A196, C131, C395 and vice versa; orA197,A1068, C395 and vice versa and should the need arise changes may be made to the alternative routes, where possible these changes will be signposted accordingly.

The Order is to be effective from the 6th July 2026 until the 10th July 2026. It is expected that the road will only be closed from the 6th July 2026 until the 7th July 2026 between the hours of 09:00 until 16:00 during this period; however, the order will remain in place until 10th July 2026. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVENthat Northumberland County Council have made an Order to prohibit the use by vehicular traffic on that section of the C125 Longhirst Junction To Potland Roundabout Longhirst from its junction with C126 District Boundary To Longhirst Brocks Junction in a westerly direction for a length of 1020 metres in the County of Northumberland.

The Order is to be effective from the 22nd June 2026 until the 22nd December 2026.

It is expected that the road will only be closed from the 22nd June 2026 until the 7th July 2026 between the hours of during this period; however, the order will remain in place until 22nd December 2026.

An alternative route will be available for use whilst the TTRO is in force being C126, A197, C395, C127, B1337, C125, and vice-versa and should the need arise changes may be made to the alternative routes, where possible these changes will be signposted accordingly.

Order to prohibit the use by pedestrian traffic on the following sections of footways in Morpeth in the County of Northumberland:

•    U6109 Abbey Meadows Pilgrims Way Footway for its entire length.

•    U6109 Pilgrims Way Queensway Footway from its junction with U6109 Abbey Medows Pilgrims Way Footway in a north-westerly direction for a length of 70 metres. The Order is to be effective from the 15th June 2026 until the 15th November 2026. It is expected that the footways will be closed at all times from the 15th June 2026 until the 21stAugust 2026 however the Order will remain in place until the 15th November 2026.

An alternative route will be available for use whilst the TTRO is in force being Queensway, Abbey Meadows, and vice-versa and should the need arise changes may be made to the alternative routes, where possible these changes will be signposted accordingly.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVENthat Northumberland County Council have made an Order under Section 14 (1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and in accordance with Regulation 7 of The Road Traffic (Temporary Restrictions) Procedure Regulations 1992 in that the following restrictions have continued to be in force on the U6067 Third Avenue Back Lane Stobhill Gate Morpeth in the County of Northumberland.

Temporary Road Closure:-

A temporary road closure will continue to be in force and all users will be prohibited to use the following road in Stobhill Gate Morpeth in the County of Northumberland.

• U6067 Third Avenue Back Lane, Stobhill Gate Morpeth from its junction with U6067 Fourth Avenue, Stobhill Gate heading in a south eastwards direction for a distance of 160 metres (“the road”) in the County of Northumberland. An alternative route will be available for use whilst the TTRO is in force and will be signposted accordingly

This Order came into force on the 3rd June 2026 and will remain in force until the 12th June 2026.

The closure has been requested by Northumbrian Water to excavate on existing boundary box and fittings and renew due to a water leak.
