PUBLIC BRIDLEWAYS 124 & 97 GLAISDALE

(COAST TO COAST NATIONAL TRAIL – CUT ROAD, GLAISDALE HIGH MOOR) DIVERSION ORDER 2026

The above Order, made on 19 May 2026, under Section 119 of the Highways Act 1980, will divert short sections of the existing bridleways onto an adjacent stone track known as Cut Road, Glaisdale High Moor, as shown on the Order map.

A copy of the Order and map may be seen free of charge during normal office hours at Whitby Library, Windsor Terrace, Whitby YO21 1EY until 9 July 2026. Copies of the Order and map may be purchased at a reasonable cost by contacting Legal & Democratic Services, North Yorkshire Council, County Hall, Racecourse Lane, Northallerton, North Yorkshire, DL7 8AD. Tel: (01609) 780780. (quoting reference EAW/AJW/132957).

Any representations about or objections to the Order may be sent in writing to Legal & Democratic Services, County Hall, Racecourse Lane, Northallerton, North Yorkshire, DL7 8AD not later than 9 July 2026. Please state the grounds on which they are made and quote the reference above.

If no such representations or objections are duly made, or if any so made are withdrawn, the North York Moors National Park Authority may confirm the Order as an unopposed Order. If the Order is sent to the Secretary of State for the Environment Food and Rural Affairs for confirmation any representations and objections which have not been withdrawn will be sent with the Order.
