(Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2026
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Rush Green Road, Clacton On Sea in the District of Tendring, from a point approximately 180m east then north east of its junction with Jaywick Lane for a distance of approximately 160m in a north easterly direction.
The closure is scheduled to commence on 6th July 2026 for 1 day, or where stated on a valid permit (BC008WGTN5L8LPTSB – Openreach Limited).
The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while pole testing works are undertaken by Openreach Limited.
An alternative route is available via Rush Green Road, Tyler Avenue, Bluehouse Avenue, Jaywick Lane, Rush Green Road and vice versa.
The Order will come into effect on 18th June 2026 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
(St Andrews Road, Clacton on Sea)
(Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2026
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of St Andrews Road, Clacton On Sea in the District of Tendring, from its junction with Wellesley Road to its junction with Old Road a distance of approximately 240m.
The closure is scheduled to commence on 7th July 2026 for 7 days, or where stated on a valid permit (EP201EH2394125 – Essex County Council).
The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while carriageway patching works are undertaken by Essex County Council.
An alternative route is available via Wellesley Road, Pier Avenue, Old Road and vice versa.
The Order will come into effect on 18th June 2026 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

(Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2026
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Swallowdale, Clacton On Sea in the District of Tendring, from its junction with Kingfishers to its junction with Curlew Close a distance of approximately 25m.
The closure is scheduled to commence on 6th July 2026 for 12 days, or where stated on a valid permit (BC411003WGNJFG3F – Openreach Limited).
The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while spine cabling works are undertaken by Openreach Limited.
An alternative route is available via Swallowdale, Thorpe Road, Ravensdale and vice versa.
The Order will come into effect on 18th June 2026 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
(The Parade, Walton on The Naze)
(Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2026
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of The Parade, Walton On The Naze in the District of Tendring, from its junction with Old Pier Street for a distance of approximately 15m in a south westerly direction.
The closure is scheduled to commence on 22nd June 2026 for 5 days, or where stated on a valid permit (EC30028930711 – UK Power Networks).
The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while link box replacement works are undertaken by UK Power Networks.
An alternative route is available via High Street, Old Pier Street and vice versa (with access only into The Parade and Church Road).
The Order came into effect on 4th June 2026 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
