ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 - SECTION 14(1)

PART OF IVANHOE ROAD AND PART OF ANSTON AVENUE

KIVETON PARK SHEFFIELD

(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC)

NOTICE is hereby given that Rotherham Borough Council intends (not less than seven days from the date of this Notice) to make an Order the effect of which will be to prohibit any vehicle from proceeding along the two parts of road specified in the Schedule to this Notice. The part of Ivanhoe Road will be closed from Monday 22nd June until Monday 10th July 2026. The part of Anston Avenue will be closed from Monday 6th July until Friday 24th July 2026.

NOTICE is further given that the alternative route for vehicles affected by the Order will be via local neighbouring streets.

The reason for the prohibitions is because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the two parts of road (Water main renewal).

SCHEDULE

(i)    Ivanhoe Road from its junction with Station Road to its junction with Anston Avenue.

(ii)   Anston Avenue from its junction with Station Road to its junction with Highfield Avenue.

(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC)

NOTICE is hereby given that Rotherham Borough Council has made an Order the effect of which is to prohibit any vehicle from proceeding along that part of Little Haynooking Lane from its junction with Lilly Hall Road for a distance of approximately 50m in a northerly direction from Tuesday 16th June until Friday 19th June 2026.

NOTICE is further given that the alternative route will be via Lilly Hall Road, Braithwell Road, Chadwick Drive, Little Haynooking Lane and vice versa.

The reason for the prohibition is because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the road (electrical works).

(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC AND TEMPORARY SUSPENSION OF ONE WAY ORDER)

NOTICE is hereby given that Rotherham Borough Council has made an Order the effect of which is to:

1.    Prohibit any vehicle from proceeding along that part of White Lee Road from a point approximately 130m north of its junction with Bridge Street for a distance of approximately 20m in a northerly direction on Monday 15th June 2026

       NOTICE is further given that the alternative route will be via A6022 Bridge Street, Rowms Lane, Marriot Road, White Lee Road and vice versa.

2.     Temporarily suspend the One Way Order relating to White Lee Road and to allow two way traffic for residents to access and engress the road on Monday 15th June 2026.

The reason for the prohibition and suspension is because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the parts of road (Telecom works).

NOTICE is further given that the alternative route will be via Nursery Road, Norfolk Drive, The Oval, Warwick Way and vice versa.

The reason for the prohibition is because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the road (Works to telecommunications apparatus).

PART OF PUBLIC FOOTPATH NO.5 THORPE HESLEY AND PART OF PUBLIC BRIDLEWAY NO.6 THORPE HESLEY ROTHERHAM

(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF PEDESTRIANS AND HORSE RIDERS)

NOTICE is hereby given that Rotherham Borough Council has made an Order the effect of which is to prohibit any pedestrian from proceeding along that part of Public Footpath No.5 Thorpe Hesley specified in item (i) of the Schedule to this notice and to prohibit any pedestrian and horse rider from proceeding along that part of Public Bridleway No.6 Thorpe Hesley specified in item (ii) of the Schedule to this notice from Monday 15th June 2026 for a period of 6 months.

NOTICE is further given that the alternative route for pedestrians and horse riders affected by the Order will be via signed diversions.

The reason for the prohibitions is because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the footpath and bridleway (Coal Authority works to construct a new water treatment scheme).

SCHEDULE

(i)    That part of Public Footpath No.5 Thorpe Hesley commencing from a point at Grid Reference SK 3822 9633 and proceeding in a south easterly direction for a distance of 415m to a point at Grid Reference SK 3857 9615.

(ii)   That part of Public Bridleway No.6 Thorpe Hesley commencing from a point at GR SK 3827 9628 and proceeding in a southerly direction for a distance of 135m to a point at GR SK 3826 9612.

NOTICE is hereby given that Rotherham Borough Council has made an Order the effect of which is to prohibit any vehicle from proceeding along the four parts of road specified in the Schedule to this notice. The part of B6410 Worrygoose Lane will be closed for periods of time between Monday 15th June and Friday 2nd October 2026. The part of Moorhouse Lane will be closed for periods of time between Monday 6th July and Friday 30th October 2026. The part of B6410 Little Common Lane will be closed for periods of time between Friday 7th August 2026 and Friday 5th of March 2027. The part of B6410 Royds Moor Lane will be closed for periods of time between Friday 7th August 2026 and Friday the 5th of March 2027.

The reason for the prohibitions is because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the roads (Flood alleviation works).

SCHEDULE

(i)    B6410 Worrygoose Lane from its junction with Greystones Road for a distance of approximately 170m in a north westerly direction (the alternative route will be via B6410 Worrygoose Lane, A631 Worrygoose Island Roundabout, A631 East Bawtry Road, A631 Bawtry Road, A631 Wickersley Roundabout, B6060 Morthen Road and vice versa).

(ii)   Moorhouse Lane from a point approximately 160m east of its junction with

Cow Rakes Lane for a distance of approximately 150m in an easterly direction (the alternative route will be via Moorhouse Lane, Cow Rakes Lane, B6410 Worrygoose Lane and vice versa).

(iii)   B 6410 Little Common Lane from its junction with B6410 Royds Moor Hill for a distance of approximately 70m in a westerly direction (the alternative route will be via B6410 Royds Moor Hill, B6410 Morthen Lane, B6060 Morthen Road, A631 Wickersley Roundabout, A631 Bawtry Road, A631 East Bawtry Road, A631 Worrygoose Island Roundabout, B6410 Worrygoose Lane, B6410 Little Common Lane and vice versa).

(iv)   B 6410 Royds Moor Hill from its junction with B6410 Little Common Lane, for a distance of approximately 70m in an easterly direction (the alternative will be the same as in item (iii) above).
