Whyle Mill - Temporary Road Closure Due To New Connection Works

Notice of Intention

NOTICE is hereby given that Herefordshire Council, as highway authority, intend, under its relevant powers, to make the following Order: U94202 Whyle Mill, Pudleston, Temporary Road Closure Order, to temporarily prohibit the use by vehicles on the U94202- Whyle Mill- Pudleston, outside Whyle Mill. Grid Ref:355585/260814.

The alternative route for those affected by the proposal is via Woonton Lane Ftom Whyle Mill To The Batches onto the Road From Whyte Lane To Old Mill Race onto Whyle Lane onto Whyle Hamlet and vice versa.

The said closure is required due to new connection works and the likelihood of danger to the public whilst the works are taking place. The said closure will come into force on 9th of July 2026 and remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months (unless extended with the consent of the Secretary of State) but the works are expected to be completed within 2 days.
