NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the London Borough of Barnet have made on 11th June 2026 the above-mentioned Orders under Sections 6, 32, 35 49 and 51 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and all other enabling powers.

In order to provide a parking facility to disabled blue badge holders who meet qualifying criteria, the general effect of the above Orders will be to provide designated disabled parking bays for use by motorists in their vehicles who display both a valid disabled blue badge and a dedicated disabled permit which will be applicable to each bay, outside the following locations: 18 Wallcot Avenue NW2 (by converting an area of permit holders only parking), 7-8 Barnard Lodge, Shaftesbury Avenue EN5, 20 Albert Road NW4, 15 Ingram Road N2 (by converting a length of permit holders only parking), 20 Hankins Lane NW7, 22 Connaught Avenue EN4 (2 wheel footway parking), 22 Wallcote Avenue NW2, (by converting an area of permit holders only parking), 26 Sydney Grove NW4, 46 Oakleigh Road North N20, Hammond Close EN5 (adjacent to Marquess House, Mays Lane), opposite No.4/4a Denham Road N20, and opposite 29/31 Banstock Road HA8 (by converting a general disabled permit holders only parking bay).

An existing general disabled permit holders only parking bay outside 3-5 Wellington, Field Mead NW9 will be extended to reach outside 2 Wellington, Field Mead (by converting an area of permit holders only parking).

The general effect of the above Orders will also remove redundant disabled parking bays outside 5 Ambrose Avenue NW11 (to be converted to resident permit holders only parking operational 11am to 12pm and 2pm to 3pm Monday to Friday), 54/56 Wolsey Grove HA8, Vineyard Avenue NW7, near its junction with Bittacy Hill (to be converted to permit holders only parking operational 1pm to 6pm on Event Days), and Vineyard Avenue NW7, adjacent to 1-6 Dollis Croft Bittacy Hill (to be converted to permit holders only parking operational 1pm to 6pm on Event Days).

Copies of the Orders, which will come into operation on Monday 15th June 2026 and the Council’s Statement of Reasons for making the Orders can be obtained, for a period of 6 weeks from the date on which this notice is published, by emailing parking.consultations@barnet.gov.uk or by writing to the Design Team, Highways Section, 2 Bristol Avenue, Colindale, London NW9 4EW.

Any person wishing to question the validity of the Orders or any of their provisions on the grounds that they are not within the relevant powers of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 or that any of the relevant requirements thereof or any regulations made there under have not been complied with in relation to the Orders may, within six weeks of the date on which the Order was made, make application for the purpose to the High Court.
