What is happening?

GLOUCESTERSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL

TEMPORARY CLOSURE C116 ROAD FROM MULBERRY HOUSE TO THE KNAPP (WESTON SUB EDGE PARISH) COTSWOLD DISTRICT

Gloucestershire County Council, as traffic authority, has made an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to temporarily close part of the C116 Road from Mulberry House to The Knapp, from its junction with Friday Street to its junction with Kingcombe Lane for a distance of approximately 1,145 metres.

The reason for the said closure is for signage works.

The said road is expected to be closed between 08:30hrs and 15:30hrs on 12th June 2026 only. For further information, please contact Gloucestershire Highways on 08000 514 514 or visit www.gloucestershire.gov.uk.

Alternative Route – as signed on site. Emergency access will be maintained. Pedestrian access will not be maintained due to safety reasons.

TEMPORARY CLOSURE C118 BROAD MARSTON LANE (MICKLETON PARISH) COTSWOLD DISTRICT

Gloucestershire County Council, as traffic authority, has made an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to temporarily close part of the C118 Broad Marston Lane Road from outside of the property known as ‘Abbots Ground Farm’ to outside of the property known as ‘Centenary Farm’ for a distance of approximately 89 metres.

The reason for the said closure is for works on behalf of Thames Water.

The said road is expected to be closed from 16th June 2026 until 18th June 2026 only. However, if the said works are not completed by this date the Order may remain in force for up to eighteen months or until the said works have been completed, whichever is sooner.

Alternative Route – as signed on site. Pedestrian access to premises on or next to the said road, and emergency access, will be maintained.

TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF 40550 WOLFORD ROAD (TODENHAM PARISH) COTSWOLD DISTRICT

Gloucestershire County Council, as traffic authority, intends to make an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to temporarily close part of the 40550 Wolford Road from outside of the property known as ‘Glebe Farm Bungalow’ to outside of the property known as ‘the Chicken Shed’ for a distance of approximately 69 metres.

The reason for the said closure is to allow for signage works.

The said road is expected to be closed between 08:30hrs and 15:30hrs on 30th June 2026 only or until the works are complete.

Alternative Route: as signed on site. Emergency access will be maintained. Pedestrian access will not be maintained as there is no viable safe route through the works area.
