TEMPORARY CLOSURE 402969 NORTHLEAZE (TETBURY TOWN) COTSWOLD DISTRICT
Gloucestershire County Council, as traffic authority, has made an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to temporarily close part of the 402969 Northleaze from outside of the property known as “No.9 Northleaze” to outside of the property known as “No.7 Northleaze” for a distance of approximately 14 metres.
The reason for the said closure is for investigation of a sinkhole.
The said road is expected to be closed on from 08:30hrs on 15th June 2026 until 15:30hrs on 16th June 2026 only. However, if the said works are not completed by this date the Order may remain in force for up to eighteen months or until the said works have been completed, whichever is sooner.

Gloucestershire County Council, as traffic authority, intends to make an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to temporarily close part of the 401508 Road from the Yew Tree Inn Cherrington to the Nags Head, from its junction with Westrip Farm Lane to its junction with Nags Head Lane for a distance of approximately 450 metres.
The reason for the said closure is for ditching works.
The said road is expected to be closed from 27th June 2026 until 29th June 2026 only.

GLOUCESTERSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL (40 MPH & 50 MPH SPEED LIMITS) (SPINE ROAD EAST & STATION ROAD) (PARISH OF SOUTH CERNEY) (COTSWOLD DISTRICT) ORDER 2026
Notice is hereby given that Gloucestershire County Council in exercise of its enabling powers under Section 84 and Part IV of Schedule 9 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 intends to make the above-named order the effect of which will be to introduce the speed limits outlined in the schedules below:
Schedule 1 – 40mph Speed Limit

The speed limit proposal on Station Road (C179) is proposed as an administrative exercise so that the speed limits along this section of carriageway are included within one Traffic Order. There will be no changes to the on-street extents of the speed limit on Station Road (C179) as part of this Traffic Order process.
The lengths of roads fall within the Parish of South Cerney in the Cotswold District within the County of Gloucestershire.

Gloucestershire County Council, as traffic authority, intends to make an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to temporarily close part of the 400927 Fosscross Lane to Barnsley Road from its junction with Fosscross Lane to its junction with the Road from Black Barns to Cirencester Lodge for a distance of approximately 1.014 kilometres.
The reason for the said closure is for a new water connection.
The said road is expected to be closed from 30th June 2026 until 4th July 2026 only. However, if the said works are not completed by this date the Order may remain in force for up to eighteen months or until the said works have been completed, whichever is sooner.

The reason for the closures is to allow for drainage works.
The said road is expected to be closed between the hours of 08:30 and 15:30 from 1st July 2026 until 14th July 2026 only or until the works are complete.

Reason for Closure
The reason for the closures and restrictions is for Pre Surface Treatment Patching & Surface Dressing Works. There will be no waiting and no loading permitted throughout the duration of the said works.
Dates
The said roads are expected to be closed and restricted, during various times, on a rolling programme commencing 1st July 2026 where the presence of approved signage will indicate whether the closures and restrictions are in force.
Further advance warnings of dates/times will be displayed on site prior to the closures and restrictions taking effect.
This Order can permit the closure and restriction of the roads in any order, or simultaneously as required.
It is anticipated all works will be completed by 30th June 2027. However, if the said works are not completed by this date the Order may remain in force for up to eighteen months or until the said works have been completed, whichever is sooner.
