PUBLIC FOOTPATHS CROFTWOOD 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 & 6
On 12 June 2026 North Tyneside Council confirmed the above-named order as unopposed. The effect of the order as confirmed is to modify the definitive map and statement for the area by adding six (6) Public Footpaths within a copsed wooded area known as ‘Croftwood’ situated south of Killingworth Village between another Public Footpaths at its western edge and the maintainable footway of the B1317 Killingworth Road at its east edge as shown on the order plan.
A copy of the order and the associated map may be seen on the Council’s website at https://www. northtyneside.gov.uk/statutory-notices and at North Tyneside Council Offices at Quadrant East, The Silverlink North, NE27 0BY between the hours of 10am and 4pm.
The order became operative on 24 April 2026 but if any person aggrieved by the order desires to question its validity or of any provision contained in it on the grounds that it is not within the powers of Section 53 or that any of the requirements of Schedule 15 to the Wildlife and Countryside Act 1981 have not been complied with, they may within 42 days of the date of publication of this notice apply to the High Court.
