(DEAN BROOK ROAD, NETHERTHONG, HOLMFIRTH)
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) (NO. 2) ORDER 2026
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the Borough of Kirklees by reason of works proposed to be carried out on or near the road intends not less than seven days from the date of this Notice to make an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in that length of Dean Brook Road, Netherthong from its junction with Deanhouse Lane to a point outside property No. 62 PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the works to be carried out on or near the closed length of road or to vehicles requiring access up to the point(s) of the closure.
Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times.
Alternative routes for vehicles affected by the closure will be available via the unaffected length of Dean Brook Road, Deanhouse Lane, Upper Hagg Road, Oldfield Road, Miry Lane and vice versa.
It is intended that the closure will operate on Monday, 29 June 2026 between 09:00 hours to 17:00 hours only (although it can remain in force for any period up to 18 months if necessary).
(PUBLIC FOOTPATH HUD/336, HUDDERSFIELD) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF USE) ORDER 2026
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the Borough of Kirklees by reason of works proposed to be carried out on or near the footpath intends not less than seven days from the date of this Notice to make an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall proceed in that length of Public Footpath HUD/336, Huddersfield from tis junction with Brunswick Street to its junction with Fitzwilliam Street, Huddersfield Town Centre PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to persons carrying out the proposed works.
Alternative routes for persons affected by the closure will be available via Fitzwilliam Street, John William Street, St George’s Square, St George’s Street, Westgate, New North Parade, Brunswick Street and vice versa.
It is intended that the closure will commence on Wednesday, 1 July 2026 and remain in force until 30 September 2026 between 08:00 hours to 17:00 hours only (although it can remain in force for any period up to 6 months if necessary).
(POOL HILL LANE, DENBY DALE, HUDDERSFIELD) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) (NO. 2) ORDER 2026
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the Borough of Kirklees by reason of works proposed to be carried out on or near the road has made an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in that short length of Pool Hill Lane, Denby Dale from approximately 270 metres north east of Clough House Lane PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the works to be carried out on or near the closed length of road or to vehicles requiring access up to the point(s) of the closure.
Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times.
Alternative routes for vehicles affected by the closure will be available via the unaffected length of Pool Hill Lane, Dry Hill Lane, Miller Hill, Wakefield Road, Cuttlehurst, Wheatley Hill Lane, Bagden Lane.
It is intended that the closure will commence on Monday, 15 June 2026 and remain in force until 19 June 2026 between 08:00 hours to 17:00 hours only (although it can remain in force for any period up to 18 months if necessary).
(LOWER QUARRY ROAD, BRADLEY, HUDDERSFIELD) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) (NO. 2) ORDER 2026
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the Borough of Kirklees by reason of works proposed to be carried out on or near the road has made an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in that length of Lower Quarry Road, Bradley from approximately 25 metres either side of Telecoms tower PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the works to be carried out on or near the closed length of road or to vehicles requiring access up to the point(s) of the closure.
Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times.
There is no alternative diversionary route available.
It is intended that the closure will operate on Sunday, 14 June 2026 between 08:00 hours to 18:00 hours only (although it can remain in force for any period up to 18 months if necessary).
(BANK LANE, DENBY DALE, HUDDERSFIELD) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2026
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the Borough of Kirklees by reason of works proposed to be carried out on or near the road has made an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in that length of Bank Lane, Denby Dale from a point outside property No. 28 to a point outside property no. 17 PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the works to be carried out on or near the closed length of road or to vehicles requiring access up to the point(s) of the closure.
Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times.
Alternative routes for vehicles affected by the closure will be available via Bank Lane, Norman Road, Wakefield Road, Barnsley Road, Bank Lane and vice versa.
It is intended that closure will operate on Wednesday, 17 June 2026 between 08:00 hours to 17:00 hours only (although it can remain in force for any period up to 18 months if necessary).
(CONISTON ROAD, MELTHAM, HOLMFIRTH) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2026
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the Borough of Kirklees by reason of works proposed to be carried out on or near the road has made an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in that length of Coniston Road, Meltham from its junction with Calmlands Road for approximately 15 metres westwards PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the works to be carried out on or near the closed length of road or to vehicles requiring access up to the point(s) of the closure.
Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times.
Alternative routes for vehicles affected by the closure will be available via Holmfirth Road, Coniston Road and vice versa.
It is intended that the closure will commence on Monday, 15 June 2026 and remain in force until 16 June between 09:30 hours to 15:30 hours only (although it can remain in force for any period up to 18 months if necessary).
