(U12000 Stourport Road Service Road, Kidderminster) (Temporary Closure) Order 2026

Order made: To close that part of U12000 Stourport Rd Service Rd from its junction with U12001 Walter Nash Rd East and for a distance of 700 metres in a southerly direction.

Reason: Carriageway patching for surface dressing inc civils works over multiple phases by WCC.

Alternative route: U12000 Stourport Road Service Rd (part), U12001 Walter Nash Rd West, A451 Stourport Rd and vice versa.

Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 2 nights (19:00-06:00) between 17 June 2026 and 1 July 2026.

(A456 Birmingham Road, Kidderminster) (Temporary Closure) Order 2026

Order made: To close that part of A456 Birmingham Rd from its junction with U12512 Leswell Ln to its junction with U12438 Shrubbery St.

Reason: Manhole cover renewal by STW.

Alternative route: A449 Chester Rd North, A448 Comberton Hill, A451 The Ringway, A456 Coventry St and vice versa.

Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 1 night (19:00-06:00). Commencing: 17 June 2026.

(C2016 Drakelow Lane, Wolverley) (Temporary Closure) Order 2026

Proposed Order: To close that part of C2016 Drakelow Ln from its junction with C2015 Sladd Ln to its junction with C2019 Wolverley Village.

Reason: Pole replacement by Openreach.

Alternative route: C2016 Drakelow Ln (part), C2015 Sladd Ln, B4189 Shatterford Ln, B4189 Wolverley Rd, C2019 Wolverley Village, C2016 Drakelow Ln (part) and vice versa.

Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 1 day. Commencing: 3 July 2026.

(C2082 Fox Lane, Chaddesley Corbett) (Temporary Closure) Order 2026

Proposed Order: To close that part of C2082 Fox Ln from its junction with U13610 Dobes Ln to its junction with A448 Kidderminster Rd.

Reason: Install timber Post and Rail fencing at bridge by WCC.

Alternative route: C2082 Cakebole Ln, C2082 Cakebole, C2014 Curslow Ln, A448 Bromsgrove Rd, A448 Kidderminster Rd and vice versa.

Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 2 days. Commencing: 6 July 2026.

(B4190 Kidderminster Road/Beales Corner/Load Street & B4195 Stourport Road, Bewdley) (Temporary Closure) Order 2026

Order made: To close that part of:

1. B4190 Kidderminster Rd/Beales Corner/Load St from its junction with U13012 Northwood Ln to its junction with U10227 Severn Side South.

2. B4195 Stourport Rd from its junction with B4190 Kidderminster Rd to its junction with U10404 Westminster Rd.

   Reason: Carriageway patching for surface dressing inc civils works over multiple phases by WCC.

   Alternative route: Diversion Closure 1: B4190 Kidderminster Rd (part), A456 Bewdley Bypass, A456 Stourport Rd, A456 Bewdley Bypass, B4190 Cleobury Rd, B4190 Winbrook, B4190 Welch Gate. Diversion Closure 2: B4190 Kidderminster Rd, A456 Bewdley Bypass – Catchems End Roundabout, A456 Bewdley Bypass, B4195 Stourport Rd (part) and vice versa.

   Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 3 nights (20:00-06:00). Commencing: 15 June 2026.

(U10006 Cross Bank, Bewdley) (Temporary Closure) Order 2026

Order made: To close that part of U10006 Cross Bank from its junction with C2194 Lye Head Rd to its junction with U10007 Bine Ln.

Reason: To repair damage to a house due to a road traffic collision by Private Contractor.

Alternative route: C2194 Lye Head Rd, A456 Callow Hill, C2021 Bliss Gate Rd, U10006 Bliss Gate Rd and vice versa.

Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 5 days (24hrs). Commencing: 15 June 2026.

(C2184 Harvington Hall Lane & U13627 Harbash Lane, Harvington) (Temporary Closure) Order 2026

Proposed Order: To close that part of:

1. C2184 Harvington Hall Ln from its junction with A448 Bromsgrove Rd for a distance of 736 metres in a north westerly direction.

2. U13627 Harbash Ln from its junction with C2184 Harvington Hall Ln for a distance of 45 metres in a westerly direction.

   Reason: Overhead works by Openreach.

   Alternative route: A448 Bromsgrove Rd, A450 Worcester Rd, C2184 Park Ln and vice versa.

   Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 5 days. Commencing: 6 July 2026.

(A456 Park Butts Ringway & A456 Bewdley Road Roundabout/A442 Proud Cross Ringway/A453 Mason Road/U12142 Chapel Road, Kidderminster) (Temporary Closure) Order 2026

Proposed Order: To close the whole of A456 Bewdley Road Roundabout including that part of:

1. A456 Park Butts Ringway from its junction with A456 Bewdley Rd Roundabout to its junction with U12385 Lower Mill St.

2. A442 Proud Cross Ringway from its junction with A456 Bewdley Rd Roundabout to its junction with A4535 Mason Rd Roundabout.

3. A4535 Mason Rd from its junction with A456 Bewdley Rd Roundabout to its junction with A4535 Summer Place.

4. U12142 Chapel Rd from its junction with A456 Bewdley Rd Roundabout to its junction U12141 Wood St.

   Reason: Carriageway resurfacing by WCC.

   Alternative route: A4535 Mason Rd (part), A4535 Blakebrook, A4535 Sutton Rd, A451 Stourport Rd, A451 The Ringway, A456 St. Marys Ringway and vice versa.

   Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 3 nights (20:00-06:00) between 6 July 2026 and 15 July 2026.

(U11432 Bewdley Road North Service Road, Stourport on Severn) (Temporary Closure) Order 2026

Proposed Order: To close that part of U11432 Bewdley Rd North Service Rd from its junction with U11433 Francis Rd to its junction with B4195 Bewdley Rd North.

Reason: Footway reconstruction by WCC.

Alternative route: U11433 Francis Rd, B4195 Bewdley Rd North and vice versa.

Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 5 days (No Weekend Working). Commencing: 9 July 2026.

EXEMPTIONS: TO PERMIT ACCESS TO ANY LAND OR PREMISES FRONTING THE HIGHWAY AFFECTED WHERE THERE IS NO OTHER FORM OF ACCESS; AND TO ALLOW THE WORKS TO BE UNDERTAKEN.

(U13623 Dunclent Lane, Stone) (Temporary 30 mph Speed Limit) Order 2026

Order made: To impose a temporary 30 mph speed limit on that part of U13623 Dunclent Ln from its junction with A448 Stone Hill for its entire length.

Reason: Safe working during replacement water main by STW.

Exemptions: Special Forces vehicles.

Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 29 days (24hrs). Commencing: 15 June 2026.

(Wyre Forest District – Kidderminster area) (Permitted Parking Area and Special Parking Area) (Waiting Restrictions and Street Parking Places) Consolidation Order 2007 (Variation) Order 2026 [Prohibition of Waiting on Shrewsbury Road, Kidderminster]

Worcestershire County Council are to consider making an Order the effect of which will be to prohibit waiting at any time on the following length and side of road in Kidderminster:-

Shrewsbury Road (west side): from its junction with Canterbury Road for a distance of 11.6 metres in a southerly direction.

Shrewsbury Road (east side): from its junction with Canterbury Road for a distance of 19 metres in a southerly direction.

The Order will vary the above Consolidation Order (which provides for civil enforcement of contraventions of waiting prohibitions and restrictions) and will contain exemptions to allow parking/access for certain purposes and limited waiting by disabled persons’ vehicles.
