Mae Cyngor Sir Dinas a Sir Caerdydd wrth arfer ei bwerau o dan Adran 14(1) Deddf Rheoleiddio Traffig Ffyrdd 1984 (fel y’i diwygiwyd), a’r holl bwerau galluogi eraill, yn bwriadu, mewn dim llai na 7 diwrnod o ddyddiad yr Hysbysiad hwn, gwneud Gorchymyn a fydd yn gwahardd unrhyw un rhag gyrru cerbyd ar hyd Rhodfa’r Brenin Edward VII o’r gyffordd â Heol Neuadd y Ddinas i’r gyffordd â Heol y Coleg.

Mae’r Gorchymyn hwn yn ofynnol i atal y tebygolrwydd o berygl i’r cyhoedd a disgwylir iddo fod ar waith fel a ganlyn: o 00:01 ddydd Sadwrn 11 Gorffennaf 2026 i 16:00 ddydd Sadwrn 18 Gorffennaf 2026.

Dim ond ar yr adegau ac i’r graddau a nodir ar arwyddion a/neu hysbysiadau sy’n cael eu harddangos y bydd y cyfyngiad dan sylw ar waith. Bydd y Gorchymyn yn parhau ar waith am hyd at 18 mis.

Bydd mynediad yn cael ei gynnal i’r meysydd parcio preifat sydd ar y darn uchod o’r ffordd.

Enw’r Gorchymyn fydd “Gorchymyn Cyngor Sir Dinas a Sir Caerdydd (Graddio Prifysgol Caerdydd 2026, Caerdydd) (Cau Ffordd Dros Dro) 2026”.

TEMPORARY TRAFFIC PROPOSAL
THE COUNTY COUNCIL OF THE CITY AND COUNTY OF CARDIFF
(CARDIFF UNIVERSITY GRADUATION 2026, CARDIFF) (TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE) ORDER 2026

The County Council of the City and County of Cardiff in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended), and of all other enabling powers intends in not less than 7 days from the date of this Notice to make an Order the general effect of which is to prohibit any vehicle from using or proceeding along King Edward VII Avenue from its junction with City Hall Road to its junction with College Road.

The Order is necessary to prevent the likelihood of danger to the public and is expected to be in operation from 00:01am on Saturday 11th July 2026 to 4.00pm on Saturday 18th July 2026.

The restriction specified will only have the effect at such times and to such extent as indicated by the display of signs and/or notices. 

The Order will remain in force for a maximum of 18 months.

Access will be maintained to the private car parks situated on the above length of road.

The Order will be known as “The County Council of the City and County of Cardiff (Cardiff University Graduation 2026, Cardiff) (Temporary Road Closure) Order 2026”.
