PROVISION OF PUFFIN CROSSING
ON PRIORSWELL ROAD, WORKSOP
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Nottinghamshire County Council in exercise of its powers under Section 23 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 proposes to install a signalised puffin crossing on Priorswell Road, Worksop in the Bassetlaw District.
1. The proposals will incorporate a controlled area, indicated by zig-zag markings along the carriageway where parking, stopping and loading will be prohibited. The extents of the controlled areas are: -
Priorswell Road, Worksop (both sides)
From a point 55 metres north-east of the centre line of Memorial Avenue in a north-easterly direction for 43 metres.
Written comments or objections you have may be shared either by letter or email to
(stating grounds and quoting ref: Priorswell Road) and must be received by the 10th July 2026.
