(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF VEHICULAR TRAFFIC & CLEARWAY)
(VARIOUS ROADS, WALSALL) ORDER JUNE 2026

Notice is hereby given that Walsall Metropolitan Borough Council intends, not less than 7 days from the date of this notice to make an Order, the effect of which will be to prevent any vehicles proceeding in that length of:

 SOMERSET ROAD, WILLENHALL that is situated at its junction with Gloucester Place for a distance of approximately 150 metres in a north westerly direction. (Monday 22 June 2026 to Thursday 25 June 2026).
Reason for order: Pipe repair work.
Works on behalf of: Severn Trent Water.
And, prevent any vehicles proceeding and stopping in the lengths of:

 COBDEN STREET, DARLASTON in its entirety (Monday 22 June 2026 to Thursday 25 June 2026, 08:00 to 17:00).

 OLD PARK ROAD, DARLASTON that is situated from its junction with A4038 Walsall
Road to the borough boundary at its junction with Woden Road North (Friday 26 June 2026 to Monday 6 July 2026, 09:00 to 15:30).

 STROUD AVENUE, WILLENHALL PHASE 1 that is situated from its junction with Pennine Way to outside Willow Rose Nursing Home (Tuesday 7 July 2026 to Wednesday 15 July 2026, 09:00 to 15:30).

 STROUD AVENUE, WILLENHALL PHASE 2 that is situated from its junction with Furzebank Way to outside property number 219 (Thursday 16 July 2026 to Friday 17 July 2026, 09:00 to 15:30).
Reason for order: Carriageway resurfacing.
Works on behalf of: Walsall MBC (Maintenance).

This Order will come into operation on Monday 22 June 2026. It is anticipated that the works will be completed as close as possible to the dates above. Signs will be erected on site indicating when the no stopping restriction will be in force and signed diversion routes (viewable on the website one.network) will be in operation for affected traffic. The Order will remain in force for a period of up to eighteen months or until the works are completed, whichever is the earlier.
