PENPLAS ROAD, LLANGYFELACH, SWANSEA NOTICE 2026

NOTICE is hereby given that the Council of the City and County of Swansea in pursuance of its powers under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) intend to make an Order. In order for Llanmoor Development Company Ltd to undertake drainage works, it will be necessary to temporarily close the above-named road to vehicular traffic.

SCHEDULE - TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE

PENPLAS ROAD, LLANGYFELACH, SWANSEA
Penplas Road in a northeasterly direction from Cefn Cadle Farm to its junction with Llangyfelach Road, a distance of approximately 800 metres.

There is no alternative route for vehicular traffic.

Access for emergency vehicles to be maintained at all times.

The maximum duration of the order is 18 months, and it is anticipated the work will take 18 months to complete effective from Monday 22nd June 2026.
