Notice is given that the Council of the City of Peterborough has made an Order pursuant to section 14(1)(a) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984:
The City of Peterborough Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic Order 2026 –
Oundle Road Ref: 27-098
The effect of which is to stop any vehicle from proceeding along the road known as Oundle Road, as lies between The Squires and Grove Street. The Council is satisfied that traffic should be prohibited due to proposed works being executed on the above road. The alternative route for vehicles affected by this order is: Oundle Road, Nene Parkway, Longthorpe Parkway, Thorpe Road, Bourges Boulevard, Rivergate, Town Bridge, London Road, Oundle Road and vice versa. The proposed order will come into force on the 12/06/2026 and will continue until the GripFibre remedial works have been completed or until the 11/06/2027, whichever is the earlier. Closure dates will be confirmed locally on site. It is anticipated that the works will take place on 12/06/2026 only.

The City of Peterborough Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic Order 2026 –
King Street, Lolham, Maxey Ref: 27-093
The effect of which is to stop any vehicle from proceeding along the road known as King Street, Lolham, Maxey, as lies between Lolham Mill access road and a point 50m south. The Council is satisfied that traffic should be prohibited due to proposed works being executed on the above road. The alternative route for vehicles affected by this order is: High Street Maxey, Maxey Road Northborough, A15, Stamford Road, King Street and vice versa. The proposed order will come into force on the 17/06/2026 and will continue until the fire hydrant chamber works have been completed or until the 16/06/2027, whichever is the earlier. Closure dates will be confirmed locally on site. It is anticipated that the works will take place between the 17/06/2026 and the 19/06/2026.

The effect of which is to stop any vehicle from proceeding along the road known as Waterworks Lane, from outside The Chapel. The Council is satisfied that traffic should be prohibited due to proposed works being executed on the above road. There is no alternative route for vehicles affected by this order. The proposed order will come into force on the 22/06/2026 and will continue until the chamber cover and frame repair works have been completed or until the 21/06/2027, whichever is the earlier. Closure dates will be confirmed locally on site. It is anticipated that the works will take place between the 22/06/2026 and the 24/06/2026.

The effect of which is to stop any vehicle from proceeding along the road known as Warwick Road, at number 38. The Council is satisfied that traffic should be prohibited due to proposed works being executed on the above road. The alternative route for vehicles affected by this order is: Hastings Road, Arundel Road and vice versa. The proposed order will come into force on the 24/06/2026 and will continue until the fire hydrant repair works have been completed or until the 23/06/2027, whichever is the earlier. Closure dates will be confirmed locally on site. It is anticipated that the works will take place between the 24/06/2026 and the 26/06/2026.

The proposed order will come into force on the 22/06/2026 and will continue until the bridge and culvert works have been completed or until the 21/06/2027, whichever is the earlier. Closure dates will be confirmed locally on site.
It is anticipated that the works will take place between 22/06/2026 and 23/10/2026.

The City of Peterborough Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic Order –
Lakeside, Werrington – 2026 Ref: 27-101
The effect of which is to stop any vehicle and pedestrian or cyclist from proceeding along the road and footpath/ cycle path known as Lakeside, Werrington, road closed as lies between numbers 39 and 42, footway closed as lies between 40 and 39. The Council is satisfied that vehicles, pedestrians and cyclists should be prohibited due to works being proposed to be executed on the above road and footpath/cycle path. The alternative route for vehicles, pedestrians and cyclists affected by this order is: Road closure – none available, Footway closure – Lakeside, Skaters Way, Fenbridge Road and Fulbridge Road cyclepath and vice versa. The proposed Order will come into operation on 22/06/2026 and will continue until the electrical installation works have been completed or until the 21/12/2026, whichever is the earlier. It is anticipated that the works will be carried out between 22/06/2026 and 26/06/2026.

The City of Peterborough, Bourges Boulevard, Road Traffic Regulations Act 1984 as amended
by the Road Traffic (Temporary Restrictions) Act 1991 (Temporary Restriction of
Through Traffic) Notice 27-102 2026 Ref: 27-102
The effect of which is to stop any vehicle from proceeding along the road known as Bourges Boulevard, southbound only, as lies between Bourges Boulevard Roundabout 36 (Crescent Bridge) and Rivergate. Access will be maintained to properties and businesses affected by this Notice. The Council is satisfied that traffic should be prohibited due to proposed works being executed on the above road. The alternative route for vehicles affected by this order is: Thorpe Road, Nene Parkway, Oundle Road, London Road, Town Bridge and Rivergate. This notice is made in the interest of tankering and investigatory works and will remain effective for no more than 5 days from 16/06/2026. Works are expected to take place overnight only 20:00 to 06:00 on 16/06/2026. The following restriction will also be suspended to enable the works: Suspension of One Way on Priestgate as lies between Cross Street and Wentworth Street. The Notice shall not apply to any persons lawfully engaged in connection with any works for which it is made, any member of the Police Force, Fire and Rescue Service, Ambulance Service, a vehicle being used by Special Forces during the execution of their duties or any person acting with permission or upon the direction of a police Officer in uniform.
