Kent County Council, acting in exercise of its powers under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, makes or intends to make the following Orders.
TONBRIDGE & MALLING AREA
Bradford Street, Tonbridge, TN9 1EH (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2026
To allow water pipe works to be carried out, Kent County Council has made an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Bradford Street, Tonbridge, on or after 15th June 2026 for up to 3 days or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed from the side of 64 High Street, along Bradford Street. To the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.
The alternative route for any through traffic is via Bradford Street, River Walk, New Wharf Road, A227 High Street and vice versa.
Hale Street, East Peckham, TN12 5JN (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2026
To allow heavy jetting works to be carried out, Kent County Council has made an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Hale Street, East Peckham, on or after 18th June 2026 for up to 2 days or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed from the junction with Smithers Lane to outside number 186 Hale Street, between the hours of 09:30 and 15:30 only. To the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.
The alternative route for any through traffic is via Hale Street, Branbridges Road, Branbridges Ind Est Roundabout, A228 Hale Street By Pass, Maidstone Road Roundabout, B2015 Maidstone Road, Hale Street and vice versa.
Lavenders Road, West Malling, ME19 6HR (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2026
To allow telegraph pole replacement works to be carried out, Kent County Council intends to make an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Lavenders Road, West Malling, on or after 2nd July 2026 for up to 2 days or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed from outside property number 135, for a distance approximately 50 metres in a Southerly direction. To the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.
The alternative route for any through traffic is via Lavenders Road, Broadwater Road, Clare Lane, Winterfield Lane, A20 London Road, Town Hill, High Street, Swan Street, Lavenders Road and vice versa.

To allow telegraph pole replacement works to be carried out, Kent County Council has made an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Leigh Road, Hildenborough, on or after 17th June 2026 for up to 2 days or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed approximately 20 metres West of property named Garry Owen. To the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.
The alternative route for any through traffic is via Leigh Road, B2027 Stocks Green Road, Stocks Close, B2027 Hildenborough Road, Powder Mill Lane, Leigh Road and vice versa.

To allow drainage repair works to be carried out, Kent County Council intends to make an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Lower Haysden Lane, Tonbridge, on or after 1st July 2026 for up to 3 days or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed between Great Haysden Cottages and Haysden Country Park. To the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.
The alternative route for any through traffic is via Lower Haysden Lane, Upper Hayesden Lane and vice versa.
Lucks Hill, West Malling (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2026
To allow foul drainage connection works to be carried out, Kent County Council intends to make an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Lucks Hill, West Malling, on or after 3rd July 2026 for up to 3 days or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed between Station Road and Swan Street, between the hours of 18:00 on 3rd July 2026 and 06:00 on 6th July 2026 only. To the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.
The alternative route for any through traffic is via Lucks Hill, Swan Street, High Street, Town Hill, A20 London Road, Winterfield Lane, Lucks Hill and vice versa.
Reeds Lane, Shipbourne, TN11 9RR (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2026
To allow two telegraph pole replacement works to be carried out, Kent County Council has made an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Reeds Lane, Shipbourne, on or after 17th June 2026 for up to 2 days or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed approximately 50 metres and 80 metres East from property named Martins. To the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.
The alternative route for any through traffic is via Reeds Lane, Claygate Lane, Hamptons Road, Puttenden Road, A227 Shipbourne Road, A227 Tonbridge Road, Back Lane, Reeds Lane and vice versa.
Rochester Road, Wouldham (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2026
To allow telegraph pole replacement works to be carried out, Kent County Council has made an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Rochester Road, Wouldham, on or after 18th June 2026 for up to 2 days or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed approximately 175 metres North from property number 227. To the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.
The alternative route for any through traffic is via Wouldham Road, Burham Road, Pilgrims Way, School Lane, High Street, Rochester Road and vice versa.
Snodland Road, Snodland, ME6 5LJ (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2026
To allow telegraph pole replacement works to be carried out, Kent County Council has made an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Snodland Road, Snodland, on or after 17th June 2026 for up to 2 days or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed approximately 80 metres South of Austens Farm. To the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.
The alternative route for any through traffic is via Snodland Road, Birling Road, High Street, Malling Road, A228 Snodland By-pass roundabout, A228 Malling Road, A228 Castle Way, A228 Leybourne By Pass, A228 Castle Way, A20 London Road, Trottiscliffe Road, Woodgate Road, The Street, Birling Road, Ryarsh Road, Snodland Road and vice versa.
St Vincents Lane, Addington (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2026
To allow telegraph pole replacement works to be carried out, Kent County Council intends to make an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of St Vincents Lane, Addington, on or after 1st July 2026 for up to 2 days or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed just off the footpath leading to Westfield Farm. To the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.
The alternative route for any through traffic is via St Vincents Lane, Park Road, Trottiscliffe Road, A20 London Road, St Vincents Lane and vice versa.

To allow remedial works to be carried out, Kent County Council has made an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Vigo Road, Fairseat, on or after 17th June 2026 for up to 2 days or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed in the vicinity of AN Waters Ltd, Manor Farm Dairy. To the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.
The alternative route for any through traffic is via Vigo Road, A227 Gravesend Road, A20 London Road, Ash Lane, Hatham Green Lane, Plaxdale Green Road, Stansted Hill, Vigo Road and vice versa.

To allow washout installation works to be carried out, Kent County Council intends to make an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Vigo Road, Fairseat, on or after 1st July 2026 for up to 3 days or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed in the vicinity of Fairlight Lodge. To the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.
The alternative route for any through traffic is via Vigo Road, A227 Gravesend Road, A20 London Road, Ash Lane, Hatham Green Lane, Plaxdale Green Road, Malthouse Road, Stansted Hill, Vigo Road and vice versa.
