NOTICE OF MAKING
B1040 & WOODCROFT ROAD
SPEED LIMIT ORDER 2025

Notice is hereby given that The Council of the City of Peterborough has made the above Order under Section 84(1)(a) and Parts III and IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, ‘the Act of 1984’ and of all other enabling powers.

The effect of this Order is to:

a) Introduce a 50mph speed limit on North Side (B1040) from a point 100m north of its junction with North Bank to its junction with Whittlesey Road (B1040)

b) Introduce a 50mph speed limit on Whittlesey Road (B1040) from its junction with North Side (B1040) to a point 510m south of its junction with The Causeway, Thorney.

c)  Extend the 30mph speed limit on Woodcroft Road, Marholm from its current terminal point at 140m north of the junction with Walton Road to a point 330m north of its junction with Walton Road.
