Kent County Council, acting in exercise of its powers under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, makes or intends to make the following Orders.

MAIDSTONE AREA

B2010 Lower Road, East Farleigh & West Farleigh, ME15 0HA (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2026

To allow telegraph pole replacement and associated cable rehanging works to be carried out, Kent County Council intends to make an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on parts of B2010 Lower Road, East Farleigh & West Farleigh, on or after 3rd July 2026 for up to 4 days or until the works have been completed.

The road will be closed approximately 70 metres North East of the junction with Church Lane, and the second site approximately 120 metres South West of the entrance to Westcot. To the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.

The alternative route for any Eastbound through traffic is via B2010 Lower Road, B2163 Ewell Lane, B2163 Heath Road, A229 Linton Road, A229 Loose Road, A229 Sheals Crescent, Old Tovil Road, B2010 Tovil Road, B2010 Tovil Hill, B2010 Farleigh Hill, B2010 Dean Street, B2010 Lower Road.

Beresfords Hill, Boughton Monchelsea, ME17 4LZ (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2026

To allow drainage repair works to be carried out, Kent County Council has made an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Beresfords Hill, Boughton Monchelsea, on or after 15th June 2026 for up to 3 days or until the works have been completed.

The road will be closed between the junctions with Bottlescrew Hill. To the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.

The alternative route for any through traffic is via Atkins Hill, Bottlescrew Hill and vice versa.



Farleigh Bridge, East Farleigh, ME16 9LY (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2026

To allow level crossing tamping works to be carried out, Kent County Council has made an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Farleigh Bridge, East Farleigh, on or after 15th June 2026 for up to 2 days or until the works have been completed.

The road will be closed 20 metres either side of East Farleigh Level Crossing, between the hours of 23:00 and 05:30 only. To the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.

The alternative route for any Southbound through traffic is via Farleigh Bridge, Farleigh Lane, A26 Tonbridge Road, A20 Tonbridge Road, A20 Terrace Road, A20 London Road, A20 The Broadway, A229 St Peters Bridge, A229 Fairmeadow, A229 Bishops Way, A229 Palace Avenue, A229 Lower Stone Street, A229 Upper Stone Street, A229 Sheals Crescent, Old Tovil Road, B2010 Tovil Road, B2010 Tovil Hill, B2010 Farleigh Hill, B2010 Dean Street, B2010 Lower Road, Station Hill.

The alternative route for any Northbound through traffic is via Station Hill, B2010 Lower Road, B2010 Dean Street, B2010 Farleigh Hill, B2010 Tovil Hill, B2010 Tovil Road, Old Tovil Road, A229 Hayle Road, A229 College Road, A20 Mill Street, A229 Bishops Way, A20 The Broadway, A20 Tonbridge Road, A26 Tonbridge Road, Farleigh Lane.



Hampton Road, Maidstone (PROHIBITION OF PEDESTRIANS) TEMPORARY ORDER 2026

To allow new ducting installation works to be carried out, Kent County Council intends to make an Order to temporarily prohibit pedestrian traffic on part of Hampton Road, Maidstone, on or after 1st July 2026 for up to 3 days or until the works have been completed.

The footpath will be closed outside property number 9, back of 8 Aldon Court. To the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.

The alternative route for any pedestrian traffic is via Hampton Road, Cooling Close and vice versa.



Harp Farm Road, Boxley (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2026

To allow telegraph pole replacement works to be carried out, Kent County Council has made an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Harp Farm Road, Boxley, on or after 16th June 2026 for up to 2 days or until the works have been completed.

The road will be closed approximately 30 metres North of Harp Farm entrance for a further 100 metres in a Northerly direction. To the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.

The alternative route for any through traffic is via Harp Farm Road, Lidsing Road, Westfield Sole Road, Walderslade Woods Roundabout, Boxley Road, Harp Farm Road and vice versa.



Headcorn Road, Ulcombe (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2026

To allow telegraph pole replacement works to be carried out, Kent County Council intends to make an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Headcorn Road, Ulcombe, on or after 2nd July 2026 for up to 2 days or until the works have been completed.

The road will be closed opposite a hay barn, approximately 100 metres North from property named The Willows. To the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.

The alternative route for any through traffic is via Headcorn Road, The Street, Ulcombe Hill, Lenham Road, Chartway Street, A274 North Street, A274 Sutton Valence Hill, A274 Headcorn Road, A274 Maidstone Road, A274 Mill Bank, Kings Road, Ulcombe Road, Crumps Lane, Headcorn Road and vice versa.



Hill Green Road, Stockbury, ME9 7UP (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2026

To allow telegraph pole replacement works to be carried out, Kent County Council has made an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Hill Green Road, Stockbury, on or after 19th June 2026 for up to 4 days or until the works have been completed.

The road will be closed between property named Daynall and property named Two Hoots. To the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.

The alternative route for any through traffic is via Cradles Road, Lower Hartlip Road, Cowstead Road, Bull Lane, Hill Green Road and vice versa.



Lenham Road, Kingswood, ME17 1JY (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2026

To allow tree cutting works to be carried out, Kent County Council intends to make an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Lenham Road, Kingswood, on or after 1st July 2026 for up to 1 day or until the works have been completed.

The road will be closed from outside property named Dallwood House to outside property named Hollyshaw. To the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.

The alternative route for any through traffic is via Lenham Road, Headcorn Road, Liverton Hill, Headcorn Road, Lenham Road, Kings Road, A274 Mill Bank, A274 Maidstone Road, A274 Headcorn Road, A274 Sutton Valence Hill, A274 North Street, Chartway Street, Lenham Road and vice versa.



Mote Avenue, Willow Way, Upper Road & Lower Road, Maidstone (NO PARKING & NO WAITING RESTRICTIONS) TEMPORARY ORDER 2026

To allow the Race for Life event to be held, Kent County Council intends to make an Order to temporarily impose no parking and no waiting on parts of Mote Avenue, Willow Way, Upper Road & Lower Road, on or after 4th July 2026 for up to 2 days or until the event has been completed.

Mote Avenue, Willow Way & Upper Road will have no parking and no waiting restrictions in place from outside number 1 Mote Avenue to outside number 6 Upper Road, between the hours of 09:00 and 15:00. To the extent indicated by signs on site.

Lower Road will have no parking and no waiting restrictions in place from the junction with Willow Way to outside property number 16, between the hours of 09:00 and 15:00. To the extent indicated by signs on site.



North Pole Road, Barming, ME16 9HH (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2026

To allow telegraph pole replacement works to be carried out, Kent County Council intends to make an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of North Pole Road, Barming, on or after 2nd July 2026 for up to 2 days or until the works have been completed.

The road will be closed approximately 75 metres West of property named Merrybrow. To the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.

The alternative route for any through traffic is via North Pole Road, North Street, A26 Tonbridge Road, The Street, Malling Road, Red Hill, Barming Road, North Pole Road, Teston Corner, North Pole Road and vice versa.



Pickering Street, Loose, ME15 9RX (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING & NO WAITING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2026

To allow gas mains replacement works to be carried out, Kent County Council has made an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic and impose no waiting on parts of Pickering Street, Loose, on or after 15th June 2026 for up to 54 days or until the works have been completed.

The road will be closed and no waiting imposed, as follows:

From the junction with Loose Road to the junction with Northleigh Close from 15th June 2026 with estimated completion by 7th August 2026.

From the junction with Northleigh Close to the junction with Leonard Gould Way from 27th July 2026 with estimated completion by 7th August 2026.

To the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.

There is no alternative route for any through traffic. Access will be maintained where it is safe to do so.



Pilgrims Way, Hollingbourne, ME17 1UP (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2026

To allow water meter replacement works to be carried out, Kent County Council has made an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Pilgrims Way, Hollingbourne, on or after 17th June 2026 for up to 3 days or until the works have been completed.

The road will be closed in the vicinity of property named Beckets. To the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.

There is no alternative route for any through traffic. Access will be maintained where it is safe to do so.



Rectory Lane, Barming, ME16 9BE (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2026

To allow new water service connection works to be carried out, Kent County Council intends to make an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Rectory Lane, Barming, on or after 29th June 2026 for up to 3 days or until the works have been completed.

The road will be closed in the vicinity of land adjacent to property number 78. To the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.

The alternative route for any through traffic is via Glebe Lane, Farleigh Lane, Rectory Lane and vice versa.



The Green, Boughton Monchelsea, ME17 4LT (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2026

To allow stop tap and meter replacement works to be carried out, Kent County Council has made an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of The Green, Boughton Monchelsea, on or after 16th June 2026 for up to 4 days or until the works have been completed.

The road will be closed in the vicinity of 2 Cart Lodge Oast. To the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.

The alternative route for any through traffic is via The Green and vice versa.



Ulcombe Road, Headcorn (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2026

To allow water meter installation works to be carried out, Kent County Council has made an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Ulcombe Road, Headcorn, on or after 17th June 2026 for up to 3 days or until the works have been completed.

The road will be closed in the vicinity of number 2 Jubilee Cottages. To the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.

The alternative route for any through traffic is via Crumps Lane, Headcorn Road, The Street, Ulcombe Hill, Lenham Road, Headcorn Road, Liverton Hill, Headcorn Road, Lenham Road, Ulcombe Road and vice versa.



Yelsted Road, Yelsted, ME9 7XG (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2026

To allow telegraph pole replacement works to be carried out, Kent County Council has made an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Yelsted Road, Yelsted, on or after 19th June 2026 for up to 4 days or until the works have been completed.

The road will be closed approximately 15 metres North of the drive leading to Frost Orchard. To the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.

The alternative route for any through traffic is via Yelsted Road, Lower Hartlip Road, A2 Hartlip Hill, A2 London Road, A2 High Street, A2 Boyces Hill, A2 Keycol Hill, A2 Key Street Roundabout, A249 Maidstone Road, A249 Sittingbourne Road, Aerodrome Approach, Bimbury Lane, Yelsted Road and vice versa.
