NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Northumberland County Council intends to make an Order to prohibit the use by vehicular traffic on the following sections in the County of Northumberland:

• U8171 Acomb Junction To Fallowfield from its junction with A6079 Acomb Village heading in a north eastwards direction for a distance of 225 metres.

• U8177 Anick Junction To U8177 Junction from its junction with U8171 Acomb Junction To Fallowfield heading in a south eastwards direction for a distance of 510 metres.

The Order is to be effective from the 1st July 2026 until the 18th December 2026.

It is expected that the road will only be closed from the 1st July 2026 until the 25th September 2026 the road will be closed at all times during this period; however, the order will remain in place until 18th December 2026.

An alternative route will be available for use whilst the TTRO is in force being via U8171, C238, A6079, A69, U8176, U8177 and vice-versa. Should the need arise changes may be made to the alternative routes, where possible these changes will be signposted accordingly.

(TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE) ORDER 2026

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Northumberland County Council intends to make an Order to prohibit the use by vehicular traffic on that section of the U8285 Paddock Wood Prudhoe from its point with the front of 35 Paddock Wood heading in a easterly direction for a distance of 80 metres in the County of Northumberland.

The Order is to be effective from the 30th June 2026 until the 10th July 2026.

It is expected that the road will only be closed from the 30th June 2026 until the 1st July 2026 between the hours of 09:30 and 15:30 during this period; however, the order will remain in place until 10th July 2026.

There is no alternative route for vehicular traffic.

(TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE) ORDER 2026

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Northumberland County Council intends to make an Order to prohibit the use by vehicular traffic on that section of the C275 Dipton House Junction To Riding Mill from its junction with A695 Farnley Oaks to Riding Mill heading in a westwards direction for a distance of 410 metres in the County of Northumberland.

The Order is to be effective from the 6th July 2026 until the 13th July 2026.

It is expected that the road will only be closed on the 6th July 2026 between the hours of 08:00 & 16:00 during this period; however, the order will remain in place until 13th July 2026.

An alternative route will be available for use whilst the TTRO is in force being via A695, B6307, B6306, C275 and vice versa and should the need arise changes may be made to the alternative routes, where possible these changes will be signposted accordingly.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Northumberland County Council intends to make an Order to prohibit the use by vehicular traffic on that section of the B6529 Middle Street from its point with the front of 9 Middle Street heading in a north westwards direction for a distance of 35 metres in the County of Northumberland.

The Order is to be effective from the 9th July 2026 until the 16th July 2026.

It is expected that the road will only be closed on the 9th July 2026 between the hours of 00:00 & 06:00 during this period; however, the order will remain in place until 16th July 2026.

An alternative route will be available for use whilst the TTRO is in force being via B6321, U8187, and B6529 and should the need arise changes may be made to the alternative routes, where possible these changes will be signposted accordingly.

(TEMPORARY PUBLIC FOOTPATH CLOSURE) ORDER 2026

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Northumberland County Council intends to make an Order to prohibit the use of Parish of Chollerton Public Footpath Number 18, in the County of Northumberland.

The route is described as follows:

Chollerton Public Footpath Number 18

From a point on the eastern side of the River North Tyne, 260 metres south-east of Barrasford Mill, in a general south-easterly direction, for a distance of 260 metres, following the eastern bank of the River North Tyne, to a point adjacent to the east of the Pumping Station.

There is an alternative route available from a point on the eastern side of the River North Tyne, 260 metres south-east of Barrasford Mill, in a general south-easterly direction, for a distance of 150 metres, following the verge on the northern side of the track following the eastern bank of the River North Tyne, then in a north east direction, for a distance of 70 metres, then in an easterly direction, for a distance of 80 metres and then in a southerly direction, for a distance of 100 metres, to a point adjacent to the east of the Pumping Station.

The Order is to be effective from the 1st July 2026 until the 1st January 2027.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Northumberland County Council have made an Order to prohibit the use by vehicular traffic on that section of the U7062 Greengate Lane from its junction with Melkridge Tynedale District Bridleway 017 heading in a northwards direction for a distance of 25 metres in the County of Northumberland.

The Order is to be effective from the 22nd June 2026 until the 26th June 2026.

It is expected that the road will only be closed from the 22nd June 2026 until the 26th June 2026 between the hours of 20:00 & 05:00 during this period; however, the order will remain in place until 26th June 2026.

There is no alternative route for vehicular traffic.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Northumberland County Council have made an Order to prohibit the use by vehicular traffic on that section of the U8289 Beech Hill from its junction with Low Burswell heading in a westerly direction for a length of 50 metres continuing on in a northerly direction for a length of 26 metres in the County of Northumberland.

The Order is to be effective from the 18th June 2026 until the 25th June 2026.

It is expected that the road will only be closed from the 18th June 2026 until the 19th June 2026 between the hours of 09:00 until 16:00 during this period; however, the order will remain in place until 25th June 2026.

There is no alternative route available.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Northumberland County Council have made an Order to prohibit the use by vehicular traffic on that section of the U8177 Anick Junction to U8177 Junction Acomb Wall from its junction with U8176 heading in an easterly direction for a length of 955 metres in the County of Northumberland.

The Order is to be effective from the 15th June 2026 until the 10th July 2026. It is expected that the road will only be closed from the 15th June 2026 until the 26th June 2026 and that it will be closed at all times during this period; however, the order will remain in place until 10th July 2026.

An alternative route will be available for use whilst the TTRO is in force being C239, U8176 and vice versa and should the need arise changes may be made to the alternative routes, where possible these changes will be signposted accordingly.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Northumberland County Council have made an Order to prohibit the use by vehicular traffic on the following sections of roads in the County of Northumberland:

• B6321 Dilston to Corbridge from its junction with A695 Hexham to Dilston in a north-easterly direction for a length of 1050 metres.

• C243 Dilston to Dilston Haughs from its junction with B6321 Dilston to Corbridge in a south-westerly direction for a length of 255 metres.

The Order is to be effective from the 22nd June 2026 until the 22nd June 2027.

It is expected that the roads will only be closed from the 22nd June 2026 until the 22nd December 2026. The roads will be closed at all times during this period; however, the order will remain in place until 22nd June 2027.

The working times during these road closures are expected to be between the hours of 08:00 and 17:00 on Mondays to Fridays and between 08:00 and 13:00 on Saturdays.

An alternative route will be available for use whilst the TTRO is in force being B6529, A695, and vice versa and should the need arise changes may be made to the alternative routes, where possible these changes will be signposted accordingly.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Northumberland County Council have made an Order to prohibit the use by vehicular traffic on the following sections of roads in the County of Northumberland:

• A6079 Station Road Hexham from its junction with C283 Dean Street in a northerly direction for a length of 150 metres.

• B6305 Priestpopple from its junction with C283 Dean Street in a south-westerly direction for a length of 165 metres.

• A695 Corbridge Road from its junction with B6305 Priestpopple in an easterly direction for a length of 2100 metres.

The Order is to be effective from the 22nd June 2026 until the 22nd June 2027.

It is expected that the road will only be closed from the 22nd June 2026 until the 22nd December 2026 between the hours of 19:00 and 07:00 on Mondays to Thursdays during this period; however, the order will remain in place until 22nd June 2027.

Alternative routes will be available for use whilst the TTRO is in force which are as follows:

For Hexham or Corbridge throughout: A6079, A69, B6529, B6321, A695, and vice versa.

For Hexham or Corbridge during A695 Corbridge Road closure outside Hexham General Hospital: Dean Street, Priestpopple and vice versa.

For HGVs: A68, A69, A695 and vice versa.

Should the need arise changes may be made to the alternative routes, where possible these changes will be signposted accordingly.

The Order is to be effective from the 22nd June 2026 until the 30th October 2026.

It is expected that the road will only be closed from the 22nd June 2026 until the 11th September 2026 at all times during this period; however, the order will remain in place until the 30th October 2026.

An alternative route will be available for use whilst the TTRO is in force being B6309, B6318, C256, A69, B6309 and vice versa and should the need arise changes may be made to the alternative routes, where possible these changes will be signposted accordingly.

(TEMPORARY FOOTPATH CLOSURE) ORDER 2026

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Northumberland County Council have made an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and in accordance with Regulation 7 of The Road Traffic (Temporary Restrictions) Procedure Regulations 1992 in that the following restrictions have continued to be in force on the Broomley and Stocksfield Tynedale District Footpath 009 Broomley and Stocksfield in the County of Northumberland.

Temporary Footpath Closure:-

A temporary footpath closure will continue to be in force and all users will be prohibited to use the following footpath in the County of Northumberland.

• Broomley and Stocksfield Tynedale District Footpath 009 Broomley and Stocksfield from its junction with U8113 Painshawfield Road heading in a north westward direction for its entire length (“the footpath”) in the County of Northumberland.

An alternative route will be available for use whilst the TTRO is in force and will be signposted accordingly.

This Order came into force on the 3rd June 2026 and will remain in force until the 1st July 2026. The closure has been requested by Northumbrian Water to excavate and carry out sewer repair works.
