Temporary Closure of Sampford Rocks
Somerset Council in exercise of its powers under Section 14 (1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended, propose to make an Order prohibiting all traffic from proceeding along: Sampford Rocks - from the junction with Taunton Road, south-eastwards for a total distance of 296 metres.
This Order will enable Wales & West Utilities to carry out gas mains replacement works.
The Order becomes effective on 25th June 2026 and will remain in force for 18 months. The works are expected to commence on 29th June 2026 and last until 17th July 2026 between the hours of 00:00 - 23:59 for a total of 19 days.
