These works are anticipated to be carried out during the 12-month period of operation of this Temporary Order that commences on 22 June 2026 for 1 week between the hours of 8.00am and 5.00pm. Advanced warning signs will be displayed and the temporary closure will only operate when the relevant traffic signs are displayed. Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2026

On 5 June 2026, Surrey County Council made the above-mentioned Temporary Traffic Order under Sections 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to prohibit vehicles from entering or proceeding in that length of Bond Road (D1353) Warlingham as extends from its junction with Farleigh Road (C217) to the access for Hazel Court.

Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2026

Surrey County Council propose to make the above-mentioned Temporary Traffic Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to prohibit vehicles from entering or proceeding in that length of Emlyn Road (D1271) Redhill as extends from its junction with Brambletye Park Road (D1271) to its junction with Knighton Road (D1271).

This Order is required to enable UKPN to facilitate repairs on underground service cables and associated works. These works are anticipated to be carried out during the 12-month period of operation of this Temporary Order that commences 29 June 2026 for 3 days between the hours of 8.00am and 11.59pm. Advanced warning signs will be displayed and the temporary closure, which is anticipated to be in operation for 24-hours per day, will only operate when the relevant traffic signs are displayed. Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2026

Surrey County Council propose to make the above-mentioned Temporary Traffic Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to prohibit vehicles from turning right into: 1. Horley Lodge Lane from Bonehurst Road (A23) Salfords; and 2. Bonehurst Road (A23) Salfords from Horley Lodge Lane. Alternative route – 1. A23 (Bonehurst Road, Balcombe Road, Brighton Road and Bonehurst Road). 2. A23 (Bonehurst Road), Salbrook Road and A23 (Bonehurst Road).

This Order is required to enable SGN to facilitate gas main replacement and associated works. These works are anticipated to be carried out during the 12-month period of operation of this Temporary Order that commences 29 June 2026 for 3 days between the hours of 8.00am and 5.00pm. Advanced warning signs will be displayed and the temporary turn bans, which are anticipated to be in operation for 24-hours per day, will only operate when the relevant traffic signs are displayed.

Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2026

Surrey County Council propose to make the above-mentioned Temporary Traffic Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to prohibit vehicles from entering or proceeding in that length of Brook Road (D1168) Merstham as extends from its junction with Bletchingley Road (C69) to a point 20 metres north of this junction.

Alternative route – Bletchlingley Road, Wood Street and Malmstone Avenue, or this route in reverse.

This Order is required to enable SGN to facilitate gas main replacement and associated works. These works are anticipated to be carried out during the 12-month period of operation of this Temporary Order that commences 6 July 2026 for 1 month between the hours of 8.00am and 5.00pm. Advanced warning signs will be displayed and the temporary closure, which is anticipated to be in operation for 24-hours per day, will only operate when the relevant traffic signs are displayed.

Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2026

Surrey County Council propose to make the above-mentioned Temporary Traffic Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to prohibit vehicles from entering or proceeding in that length of Weare Street (D293) Capel as extends from its junction with Coles Lane (B2126) to the access for “Russets”.

Alternative route – B2126 (Coles Lane), A29 (Stane Street) and Weare Street, or this route in reverse.

This Order is required to enable the Council to facilitate hydroseeding of culvert headwalls and associated works. These works are anticipated to be carried out as soon as possible during the 12-month period of operation of this Temporary Order that commences 27 June 2026 between the hours of 8.00am and 5.00pm. Advanced warning signs will be displayed and the temporary closure will only operate when the relevant traffic signs are displayed.

Surrey County Council propose to make the above-mentioned Temporary Traffic Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to prohibit vehicles from entering or proceeding in that length of:- (a) Ebbisham Lane (C55) and Hurst Road (C55) Walton on the Hill as extends the access for Ebbisham Farm to the access for Hurstfields; and (b) Ebbisham Lane (D1134) Walton on the Hill as extends from its junction Hurst Road (C55) to the access for Grey Tiles.

Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2026

On 10 June 2026 Surrey County Council made the above mentioned Temporary Traffic Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to prohibit vehicles from entering or proceeding in that length of Colley Manor Drive (D1201) Reigate as extends from its junction with the access to the property known as “Heathlands” and for a distance of 44 metres in a northerly direction along Colley Manor Drive. Alternative Route: Colley Manor Drive. This Order is required to facilitate gas mains replacement works for, or on behalf of SGN. These works are anticipated to be carried out over 12 days, between the hours of 8am and 6pm, during the 12-month period of operation of this Temporary Order that commences on 17 February 2026. Advanced warning signs will be displayed and the temporary closure, which is anticipated to be in operation 24 hours per day will only operate when the relevant traffic signs are displayed. Access to premises within the affected length of road, including access by emergency service vehicles to these properties will be maintained at all times, as will access for pedestrians and dismounted cyclists.

Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2026

On 10 June 2026 Surrey County Council made the above mentioned Temporary Traffic Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to prohibit vehicles from entering or proceeding in that length of Greville Park Road (D2580) Ashtead as extends from its junction with (A24) The Street to its junction with Lime Tree Court. Alternative Route: (A24) The Street, Woodfield Lane, Barnett Wood Lane, Oakfield Road, and Greville Park Road, or this route in reverse. This Order is required to facilitate telecom utility works for, or on behalf of BT Openreach. These works are anticipated to be carried out over 12 days, between the hours of 8am and 6pm, during the 12-month period of operation of this Temporary Order that commences on 22 June 2026. Advanced warning signs will be displayed and the temporary closure, which is anticipated to be in operation 24 hours per day will only operate when the relevant traffic signs are displayed. Access for residents, pedestrians and dismounted cyclists will be maintained at all times, via Oakfield Road. All other vehicular traffic, including emergency service vehicles will be required to follow the signed diversion route.

No sole access will be affected by this closure.

Brickhouse Lane (D373) Newchapel
Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2026

On 10 June 2026 Surrey County Council made the above mentioned Temporary Traffic Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to prohibit all traffic from entering or proceeding in that length of Brickhouse Lane (D373) Newchapel as extends from its junction with the access to the property known as “Branford Wells Farm to its junction with the access to the property known as “Barncote Farm Cottages”. Alternative Route: Brickhouse Lane, Bones Lane, Croydon Barn Lane, and Brickhouse Lane, or this route in reverse. This Order is required to facilitate mains water connection works for, or on behalf of SES Water. These works are anticipated to be carried out over 5 days, between the hours of 8am and 4.30pm, during the 12-month period of operation of this Order which will commence on 22 June 2026. Advanced warning signs will be displayed and the temporary closure, which is anticipated to be in operation 24 hours per day, will only operate when the relevant traffic signs are displayed. Access for emergency service vehicles, pedestrians and dismounted cyclists will be maintained at all times. All other vehicular traffic, including residents will be required to use the signed diversion route. No sole access will be affected by this closure.

Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2026

On 10 June 2026 Surrey County Council made the above mentioned Temporary Traffic Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to prohibit vehicles from entering or proceeding in that length of Dormans Road (C91) Dormansland as extends from its junction with (D823) Swallowfield to its junction with (D415) West Street. Alternative Route: Dormans Road, (B2028) Racecourse Road, Plough Road, and Dormans Road, or this route in reverse. This Order is required to facilitate electrical connection works for, or on behalf of UKPN. These works are anticipated to be carried out over 12 days, between the hours of 8am and 6pm, during the 12-month period of operation of this Temporary Order that commences on 22 June 2026. Advanced warning signs will be displayed and the temporary closure, which is anticipated to be in operation 24 hours per day will only operate when the relevant traffic signs are displayed. Access for residents will be via road plates, access for pedestrians and dismounted cyclists will be maintained at all times. All other vehicular traffic, including emergency service vehicles, will be required to follow the signed diversion route.

Henfold Lane (D301) Beare Green
Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2026

Surrey County Council propose to make the above mentioned Temporary Traffic Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to prohibit vehicles from entering or proceeding in the entire length of Henfold Lane (D301) Beare Green.

Alternative Route: Henfold Lane, Mill Road, (A24) Horsham Road, (A24) Beare Green Roundabout, Newdigate Road, Trig Street, Kingsland, Village Street, and Henfold Lane, or this route in reverse. This Order is required to facilitate gas mains connection works for, or on behalf of SGN. These works are anticipated to be carried out over 4 days, between the hours of 9am and 4pm, during the 12-month period of operation of this Temporary Order that commences on 06 July 2026. Advanced warning signs will be displayed and the temporary closure, which is anticipated to be in operation 24 hours per day will only operate when the relevant traffic signs are displayed. Access to premises within the affected length of road, including access by emergency service vehicles to these properties will be maintained at all times, via road plates, as will access for pedestrians and dismounted cyclists.

Oakdene Road (D1264) Redhill
Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order (No.2) 2026

Surrey County Council propose to make the above mentioned Temporary Traffic Order under Section 14(1) and 14(7) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to prohibit vehicles from entering or proceeding in that length of length of; (a) Oakdene Road (D1264) Redhill as extends from its junction with (D1266) Upper Bridge Road to its junction with (D1264) The Tannery; (b) Suspend “The Surrey County Council Oakdene Road (D1264) Redhill Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2026” insofar as it affects that length of road described in part (a) of this Notice. Alternative Route: (1) Oakdene Road, Upper Bridge Road, Grovehill Road, Linkfield Street, and Oakdene Road; (2) Linkfield Street, Grovehill Road, and Upper Bridge Road. This Order is required to facilitate mains water connection works for, or on behalf of SES Water. These works are anticipated to be carried out over 3 days, between the hours of 8am and 4.30pm, during the 12-month period of operation of this Temporary Order that commences on 08 July 2026. Advanced warning signs will be displayed, and the temporary closure will only operate when the relevant traffic signs are displayed. Access for emergency service vehicles, pedestrians and cyclists will be maintained at all times. It will not be possible to maintain access through the closure for residents and businesses, and they will be required to use the signed diversion route. The Council are satisfied that, in accordance with Section 3(2)(a) and 3(2)(b) of the Act, vehicular access to and from premises within the length of road above, or accessible only therefrom, may be restricted in order to avoid danger to persons or other traffic using the road and/or for preventing the likelihood of any such danger arising.

Grange Road (D1434) Caterham
Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2026

Surrey County Council propose to make the above mentioned Temporary Traffic Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to prohibit all traffic from entering or proceeding in that length of Grange Road (D1434) Caterham as extends from its junction with (D1433) Harestone Hill to its junction with (X10022) Windrushes. Alternative Route: Harestone Hill, Harestone Valley Road, (B2030) Station Avenue, (B2030) The Square, (B2030) Godstone Road, Tupwood Lane, and Grange Road, or this route in reverse. This Order is required to facilitate mains water connection works for, or on behalf of SES Water. These works are anticipated to be carried out over 5 days, between the hours of 8am and 4.30pm, during the 12-month period of operation of this Order which will commence on 06 July 2026. Advanced warning signs will be displayed and the temporary closure, which is anticipated to be in operation 24 hours per day, will only operate when the relevant traffic signs are displayed. Access for emergency service vehicles, pedestrians and dismounted cyclists will be maintained at all times.

Due to the nature of the works, there will be no other vehicular access through the closure, and all traffic will be required to use the signed diversion route. No sole access will be affected by this closure.

D2540 Cleeve Road, Leatherhead
Temporary (Suspension) Order 2026

Surrey County Council propose to make the above mentioned Temporary Traffic Order under Section 14(1) and 14(7) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) the effect of which will be to suspend the order imposing a width restriction on D2540 Cleeve Road, Leatherhead, that length of which extends for a distance of 3 metres either side of a point lying opposite the property boundary line between Nos. 120 and 122 Cleeve Road, namely “SURREY COUNTY COUNCIL CLEEVE ROAD (D2540) LEATHERHEAD (WIDTH RESTRICTION) ORDER 2006”, in its entirety. This Order is required to enable Surrey County Council to surfacing works and/or major maintenance works being carried out on or near the said roads, which is anticipated to be carried out as soon as possible within the 18 month period of operation of this Order which will commence on 1 July 2026. Advanced warning signs will be displayed and the temporary suspension of the Order will only operate when the relevant traffic signs are displayed/covered up.

Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2026

On 10 June 2026 Surrey County Council made the above mentioned Temporary Traffic Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) the effect of which will be to (a) prohibit vehicles from entering or proceeding in the lengths of roads specified in the Schedule 1 and Schedule 2 of this Notice and (b) impose a 30mph speed limit in that length of the northbound carriageway of A24 By-Pass Road, Leatherhead which extends from its junction with B2033 Reigate Rooad to its junction with A243 By-Pass Road. This Order is required to enable Surrey County Council to facilitate carriageway surfacing and/or major maintenance which is anticipated to be completed as soon as possible within the 12 month period of operation of this Order which will commence on 11 June 2026. Advanced warning signs will be displayed and the temporary closure and speed limit will only operate when the relevant traffic signs are displayed. Any vehicle found to be obstructing the highway during these works will be removed to a suitable location outside the limits of the works after all reasonable methods have been undertaken to identify and contact the vehicle’s owner. For part (a): In the event that it is necessary to restrict any access at any time under Section 3 of the Act, the road can only be closed for a maximum of 8 hours in any 24-hour period. Access for residents, pedestrians and dismounted cyclists will be maintained at all times, as will access for and emergency service vehicles in an emergency situation only. All other vehicular traffic will be required to follow the diversion routes. Access for residents and dismounted cyclists will be maintained at all times. Alternative Route 1 Traffic on M25 wishing to exit at Junction 9 – M25, M25, A244 Oxshott Road, B2430 Kingston Road, A245 Kingston Road, A245 Bull Hill, B2122 Leret Way and B2122 Epsom Road; Alternative Route 2 – A245 ByPass Road, A245 Kingston Road, B2430 Kingston Road, B2430 Oxshott Road, A244 Oxshott Road, C131 Oaklawn Road, A245 Woodlands Road, A245 Stoke Road, A245 Mill Hill, A245 Riverhill, A245 High Street, A245 Between Streets, A245 Portsmouth Road, A3 and M25; Alternative Route 3 HGV traffic from Knoll roundabout (avoids height restrictions in Leatherhead) – A24 ByPass Road, A246 Young Street, A246 Guildford Road, A246 Epsom Road, A25 Epsom Road, A247 The Street, A247 Clandon Road, B2215 Portsmouth Road, B2215 High Street, B2215 Portsmouth Road, B2039 Portsmouth Road, A3 northbound to M25 Junction 10; Alternative Roue 4 – Continue on A3 northbound using alternative route 3 and follow alternative route 1. For part (b): it is anticipated that the temporary speed limit will be in force 24 hours per day. The speed limit imposed by this Order shall not apply to vehicles used by special forces in accordance with the Road Traffic Exemptions (Special Forces) (Variation and Amendment) Regulations 2011.

1. that length of A243 By-Pass Road, Leatherhead which comprises the entire length of the circulatory carriageway comprised within the roundabout situated at or adjacent to the junctions of A243 By-Pass Road, A245 By-Pass Road, M25 Junction 9 from Junction 8 Off Slip and M25 Junction 9 to Junction 10 On Slip;

2. that length of A243 By-Pass Road, Leatherhead which extends from its junction with A24 By-Pass Road to its junction with A243 By-Pass Road;

3. that length of A243 By-Pass Road, Leatherhead which extends from its junction with A243 Kingston Road to its junction with A245 By-Pass Road.

1. that length of the southbound carriageway of A24 Deepdene Avenue, Dorking which extends from its junction with A25 Reigate Road northwards to the northside of the railway bridge adjacent to Lamp Column N46. Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2026

On 10 June 2026 Surrey County Council made the above mentioned Temporary Traffic Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) the effect of which will be to prohibit vehicles from entering or proceeding in that length of D1169 Taynton Drive, Merstham, which extends from the western extent of the northern pedestrian access to Merstham Park School to the property boundary between the school and No. 2 Taynton Drive.

Alternative Route – Taynton Drive, Sunstone Grove, Worsted Green, Bletchingley Road, Weldon Way, Sutton Gardens and Taynton Drive. Alternative Route – D67 Harpers Road and A323 Guildford Road. This Order is required to enable Surrey County Council to facilitate construction of a raised crossing and/or associated improvement works as soon as possible within the 18 month period of this Order which will commence on 15 June 2026. Advanced warning signs will be displayed and the temporary closure will only operate when the relevant traffic signs are displayed.

Any vehicle found to be obstructing the highway during these works will be removed to a suitable location outside the limits of the works after all reasonable methods have been undertaken to identify and contact the vehicle’s owner. In the event that it is necessary to restrict any access at any time under Section 3 of the Act, the road can only be closed for a maximum of 8 hours in any 24-hour period. Access for residents, pedestrians and dismounted cyclists will be maintained at all times, as will access for and emergency service vehicles in an emergency situation only.
