GREEN LANE, NEWSHOLME, KEIGHLEY
TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC ORDER
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that City of Bradford Metropolitan District Council by reason of telecommunication works proposed to be executed on or near Green Lane, Newsholme, Keighley intends not less than seven days from the date of this Notice to make an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall proceed in the length of Green Lane from its junction with Broad Head Lane/Whitehall Road to its junction with White Lane.
PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the works proposed to be carried out on the said length of road.
Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times.
Alternative routes for vehicular traffic affected by the proposed Order will be available via Green Lane (unaffected section), Whitehall Road, Slippery Ford Lane, Coppy Lane, Greystones Lane, Todley Hall Road, Green Sykes Road, Goose Eye Brow, Game Scar Lane, Goose Eye, Holme Hose Lane, Mackingstone Lane, Slack Lane and vice versa.
The proposed Order will come into effect at 08:00 hours on the 22nd of June 2026 and remain in force until 18:00 hours on the 26th of June 2026 (although the closure can remain in force for up to eighteen months if necessary).
