Syedna Way - Temporary Road Closure Due To Water Works

CITY OF BRADFORD METROPOLITAN DISTRICT COUNCIL

SYEDNA WAY, BRADFORD

TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC ORDER

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that City of Bradford Metropolitan District Council by reason of water works proposed to be executed on or near Syedna Way, Bradford intends not less than seven days from the date of this Notice to make an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall proceed in the length of Syedna Way from a point outside No. 45 Syedna Way to its junction with Ingleby Road.

PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the works proposed to be carried out on the said length of road.

Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times.

Alternative routes for vehicular traffic affected by the proposed Order will be available via Syedna Way (unaffected section), Rosse Street, Thornton Road, Ingleby Road and vice versa.

The proposed Order will come into effect at 21:00 hours on the 25th of June 2026 and remain in force until 01:00 hours on the 26th of June 2026 (although the closure can remain in force for up to eighteen months if necessary).
