A1305 RIVERSIDE, STOCKTON DUAL CARRIAGEWAY & PROHIBITION OF RIGHT TURN ORDER 2025
Notice is hereby given that Stockton-on-Tees Borough Council made the above Order on the 12th June 2026 under Sections 1, 2 and 4 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 ("the Act") and of all other enabling powers, and after consultation with the Chief Officer of Police in accordance with Part III of Schedule 9 to the Act. The Order, which come into effect on the 21st June 2026 will have the effect of introducing a new dual carriageway along the lengths of road specified in Schedule 1 hereto and prohibiting road users from making a right turn manoeuvre along the lengths of road specified in Schedule
2. Details of the affected sections and restrictions on A1305 Riverside are set out in the Order and accompanying plan, available on the Council's website. (Traffic Orders). If you wish to question the validity of the Order or any provision contained in it on the grounds that it is not within the powers conferred by the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 on the grounds that any requirement of the Act or of any Instrument made under them has not been complied with in relation to the Order, you may, within six weeks from the 12th June 2026 apply to the High Court for this purpose.

A1305 Riverside, Stockton - From its junction with Council of Europe Boulevard in a southerly direction for a distance of approximately 300 metres
Schedule 2 - Prohibition of right turn movement for vehicular traffic
From A1305 Riverside, Stockton-on-Tees onto Quayside Road, Stockton-on-Tees
From Quayside Road, Stockton-on-Tees onto A1305 Riverside, Stockton-on-Tees
