U111 EASTERN TERRACE BERWICK
(TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE) ORDER 2026
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Northumberland County Council intends to make an Order to prohibit the use by vehicular traffic on that section of the U111 Eastern Lane from its junction with Easter Wynd heading in a southerly direction for a length of 45 metres in the County of Northumberland.
The Order is to be effective from the 6th July 2026 until the 6th January 2028.
It is expected that the road will only be closed from the 6th July 2026 until the 6th January 2028 however it will be closed at all times during this period.
There is no alternative route available for use whilst the TTRO is in force.

The closure has been requested by Willmott Dixon Construction Limited as part of the regeneration project for The Maltings. In order to minimise future disruption, other contractors may be undertaking works throughout the duration of this Order.

U109 WEST END ROAD TWEEDMOUTH
(TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE) ORDER 2026
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Northumberland County Council have made an Order to prohibit the use by vehicular traffic on that section of the U109 West End Road Tweedmouth from its junction with Ord Drive in a northerly direction for a distance of 21 metres in the County of Northumberland.
The Order is to be effective from the 22nd June 2026 until the 1st October 2026. It is expected that the road will only be closed from the 22nd June 2026 until the 31st July 2026 and that the road will be closed at all times during this period; however, the order will remain in place until 1st October 2026.
An alternative route will be available for use whilst the TTRO is in force being Blakewell Road, Main Street, Prince Edward Road, Ord Drive, and vice versa and should the need arise changes may be made to the alternative routes, where possible these changes will be signposted accordingly.
