Temporary Closure of School Street

Somerset Council in exercise of its powers under Section 14 (1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended, propose to make an Order prohibiting all traffic from proceeding along: School Street - from 43 metres south of the junction with Church Street, southwards for a total distance of 19 metres. This Order will enable Dunmore SW to replace a frame and cover on behalf of Openreach. The Order becomes effective on 25th June 2026 and will remain in force for 18 months. The works are expected to commence on 2nd July 2026 and last until 3rd July 2026 between the hours of 00:00 - 23:59 for a total of 2 days.
